Yuri ni Tanpopo

Even though it got cut-short, I would rather have this ending, then something horribly rushed... like Idol Pretender. +5 for the last chapter. Hopefully we get more from the mangaka though.

Haha, she called her boyfriend. Having seen just how much her sister and her lover had issues connecting with each other, she must of felt the "phone strap" incident to be so petty.

Poor guy, lose a 2 dollar strap and get a heavy object slammed into his face. If I were him, I wouldn't want to have anything to do with this person anymore. 

But hey, this whole ordeal made both sisters grow as a person, so I guess this thing is positive.

Those two lovers though... sheesh talk about... not talking. I guess this is a typical Japanese approach, never talking about dem feels.

Being women and lovers, this strike me as very odd, not something I'd consider to be the norm.

It looks like the little sister got through her older sister to be a little bit more proactive... 

 

The ending... Why not call her?

 

1. She's going to go to a spot that's important to them ie. where she confessed or something similar and she's going to wait until Mizuho comes.

 

2. She's going to stay in and gauge how much Mizuho loves her by how long she searches before coming back home.

 

That's the 2 more plausible ones I can think of.

 

In my mind, it's almost certainly going to be 1, because it's so cheesy and full of fuzzyness, and it's a classic romance cliché when things are shaky.

That's pretty optimistic... though both assume somewhat of a manipulative nature is in play. To me it's far more likely she came back to make a clean break and the current scenario has shattered her resolve and left her feeling unsure of what to do.

This is hot and sweet. Eventhough i don't support homosexuality, i tend to ignore it and live my as usual.

I too, hate that people group lesbians with the other confusing gender shit. I looove lezzies, and I don't really care for all the other non-hetero configurations.

And I find girl x girl the only kind of romance that can be cheesy as hell and still soo good.

Biology aside, this manga has the coherence of something by Douman Sayman, and it's not half as amusing. Yuri should make me vomit kittens and happiness.

On a more important note, the manga is looking, well, dramatic.  Serious tensions beneath the surface, people who've been hurt.  I keep wondering what the younger sister's role is going to be--is she just the spectator, will she fall for the girlfriend?
