I took the arc to mean "we need an excuse to insert 2 more perfect breasts into the story".
Yeah yeah ... misplaced anger ... yadda yadda ... teen angst. I just have one thing to say ... new girl is THICC. She is definitely giving Yuizaki a ... run ... for her money (bad pun intended).

Seriously, why does she hate the girl who did absolutely nothing to her? And not, say, the three idiots who got her kicked off the team? Or the teacher who did it without listening to her side of things? Yuizaki had nothing to do with the situation except being asked to run by her teacher.
Yeah yeah I know she was young and transference is a thing but still...crap like this really pisses me off.
