Description: | The story of the comedy manga revolves around Yūji Yugami and Chihiro Watanuki, who sit next to each other in class. Unfortunately for the transfer student Chihiro, Yūji is weird... extremely weird. Even though he's the ace of the baseball club, he hasn't adapted to the club at all. He also stands apart from the rest of the class, but seems completely satisfied with being alone. |

The Batato thing... is reminding me of how Overlord got started... Truck-kun was busy, they were shutting down the servers but the MC was still on to the bitter end.
I think the lesson there is make sure you increase the important stats in the characters you want to be close to before being transferred to "Isekei Batato".
To the bitter end!
I really like how Watanuki and Yugami confronted each other. One of my favorite chapters so far...
On another note, I'll be on Batoto until the bitter end.
the thing is that he can socialize with people, I would say that he probably has asperger
The fact he told Fujisawa the truth and pursued her after she fled crying shows he's not. His attraction to and care of animals, and constantly helping of Watanuki also show he has empathy and remorse.
He's definitely on the spectrum in some way, because while he has empathy and/or sympathy, the way he reacts to it shows he has difficulty understanding it.
The entire bit where he didn't know why Fujisawa apologized and had to pull out a white board to try and get to the bottom of her reasoning implied aspergers or autism.
Ten points to Gryffindor!
"You're too noisy! -5 points!"
Bwa ha ha ha!!! That backfired, but it's good for him too. Can't stop the laughter at the irony.
yugami clearly has something in the head, but he knows his shit
the notebook clearly was effective, but this time I'm with him 100%, if he talked each time with the players they would feel more stresses (knowing how yugami talks) ... even after passing the notebook he was looking at each player seriously ... with his level and seriousness he should probably go professional.
and yep, poor watanuki once again being the rug of everyone else :/
You want results, you get results.
Yugami works in mysterious ways.
Also something to note -- Watanuki is cleaning up alone again. Yugami's words become more and more true.
This is why Yugami Kun is the Ace. Straight Forward and right most of the times. Kadota at receiving end of many situations is just a consequence of being in Yugami Kun company. hehe
Herd mentality is harming Chihiro. Chihiro need to come up with a deplomatic response to deal with those 2 girls. And Chihiro has good partner in That girl who liked Yugami Kun.
This manga is 80+ % sociology and comedy. For now there is pretty much no romance.
1 Chapter per week is my Before Christmas wish. hehe
I think Crunchyroll should pick it. They gonna ruin the translation process but at least we will get most chapters pretty soon.
Here it is.

He just doesn't give a damn, never beats around the bush and straight up disses anyone who deserve it.
Truly Yugami is the ultimate independent being not swayed or influenced by the normalfags and mindless sheep around him.
That is not being a sociopath, your description of what makes a sociopath is woefully incomplete. Even then I don't see why you would say he does not show empathy or remorse. That is not supported in any way by what the author has so far shown us about Yugami. What situation are you thinking of precisely. As far as I can see there is clearly no pathology there, just a quirky personality. I wouldn't even call him obsessive/compulsive.
This is a classic projection of sociopathy onto a man that appears unfeeling or tactless. Literally straight out of Camus' L'Etranger. Camus personal description of that book though often maligned, is shown to be a perfectly accurate description of this phenomenon: 'In our society any man who does not weep at his mother's funeral runs the risk of being sentenced to death.'
Goes to show that he does view her as a friend of sort. If it was anyone else, he probably would've just ignored them.
A sociopath wouldn't have helped Chihiro unless there was some kind of payoff for him. Instead he recognized that she needed help and went out of his way to provide it for her. Yes, he got his money back, but he still expended time and effort on someone else's behalf for no reward.
Man if there is one manga I'm happy to see get a new chapter it's this one. EVERY FUCKING CHAPTER has me laughing my ass off by the end at how much a madman Yugami is. "500 yen" was such a godlike punchline to that entire chapter. It's Yugami in one panel.
God I love this manga.
Especialy the 2 (i dont realy care about their name) is just straight out asshole
Uh, Yugami is absolutely right on this. Her friends are outright cunts.
Isn't this more sociopathy? He seems pretty adept at dealing with situations, he just doesn't have much empathy or remorse, and is pretty egotistical.
This man is my spirit animal
