14 chapters of "wtf just happened?" and "ooh cool kung fu action montage"

that's not even the problem, it's just that this is super rushed, from him being powerless to being op doesn't take a chapter and keeps getting more op ignoring any rules they bother explaining plus you don't get to know him very well, so all you can see is an arrogant person you know little about who will just do as he pleases to rise to the top with his new powers

Good point.

Through the chapters, the training is only shown in just one panel with him meditating until he coughs blood, then jumps to him training in the forest, and repeat. If only the author could slow the pace and develop the character adequately.

It's not like I want to defend the MC. But well, he was bullied everyday for a year because he had no talent; then suddenly acquired potential. After working hard and training, he became strong.

It's understandable he'd be arrogant.

No one stand against protagonist, no way stand on my way to reach my goal.

Being Arrogant is something but this pace is just going fast.

chapter 13 is actually chapter 14

I don't care about anyone in the story. the MC is annoyingly arrogant and it all seems about him upgrading by accident, on and on and on. Unfollow.

I came in not expecting anything, and the first few chapters were like "btth abridged, the plot cares not for your drama"

honestly, it's kind of fun to see the mc just moving forward without ranting about how he is advancing, sure its simplistic but since there's no great deadline promise, a promise to revive a teacher or a grudge that will only grow it's really refreshing.

not a great work sure, but fun in a "I want to read something simple that looks good" way

Wow this manhua is terrible.

The "HE ONLY HAS AN ORDINARY BONE FRAME!?" bit was good though.

The summary sounds like HN1F's Xiao Yan's backstory. For those that read both... Is it just the summary or is the plot and story movement similar as well? Guy loses power, gets dumped, has awesome strong female best friend, regains power, beats ex-fiance in duel, tries to get with female best friend.... So on and so forth?

I don't really mind how this progress, they may skip some parts but it's have been going right on plot.

The pacing and story telling in this work is awful. It just feels like time skips all over the place.

And now he defeated some high level trainer or these guy technique is just too weak.

Don't think it's too much a difference....idk how levels work in this, but I think they are on the same realm.

More like he got a boost, well I can agree that pace of Manhua is fast comparing to BTTH.

So MC lost his powers but regains it and more within the first like chapter and a half. Why bother even going down the, "loser becoming OP hero" route if that's the case?

There's error in ch 4. The genius brothers Yang Yun He and Yang Yun Hai are actually Li Yun He and Li Yun Hai.

For anyone saying that this is a shameless rip-off from BTTH, mind you that BTTH isn't the first Chinese novel with fallen genius and broken engagement at its premier. Also, tons of notable novels with female lead have broken engagement, not just the male thing.

for example? other than BTTH, what else?

"Oh No, It's an iron-boned dhole!"

I read that as D-hole...  I had to stop and reread it and look it up!

Well i hope the Starter-Arc only Rippoff
Then in the Late-Game arc I hope there is better excuse execute to difference to BTTH
When in japan manga there are booming "Isekai Harem RPG Fantasies" Rippoff stories

Meanwhile Chinese Mahnwa there are booming "Underdog MC Practitional Martial Arts Road Became too OP"

Yeah that triggered me hard as well! Hahah

I would understand if he said counter strike/Doom but CoD is one of the things that makes Fps trashy IMO.

I hope you are joking right now haha

The art looks great, kinda doubtful of the MC's personality..

Would still stick around tho.
FOLLOWED!

Yeah but call of duty invented FPS.

It's not BTTH ripoff, that's one of the many way a xianxia story goes, saying it's a ripoff of BTTH is saying BTTH ripoff many other series before it. While I understand that BTTH was more or less the xianxia that hit the English community with a highprofile but basing on that alone and saying other series is ripping off from it is a bit annoying if anything.

Yeah but call of duty invented FPS.
