fantastic artwork. RIP Seiki Tsuchida

in manga there are always fantastic and unbelievable characters, like thugs who can punch through concrete walls. and madonnas who can run a corporate empire while  having perfect grades. yomawari sensei strangely feels like one of them, but i choose to believe in his character out of the hope he inspires in me.

You don't have to choose to believe.

His character exist tho, i am not talking about the author himself per see, but the archetype, there are some social workers out there that do try to keep that hopeful attitude, for at least the first 3 years, and then... then they just become lifeless cynical underpaid public servants who probably want someone to help them as much or more than the people they have to help, and i guess there must be some rare case in which the system actually works, but Yomawari-sensei has too low a success rate for that to be his case, maybe he gets paid well? if i'm not wrong teachers are well paid and respected in Japan so that must help.

Trauma, abuse, and the world's cruelty experienced by children can significantly affect their mind-set and even diminish their rational thinking. Why am I stating the obvious? Because it's fact that a happy and peaceful childhood is not the norm but rather a privilege to many. Sure some of these children grew up to be "fine" adults in the real world, but are they truly okay? Who says children can just shrug off and cry away their worries?

Holly fuck, guys, what is this? what is happening? we got a happy ending!

OW MY SOUL

marathoning this was not a happy time.

>Oh boy! It seems really hopeful this time around, surely it won't go wrong!

Why did I expect anything else other than the purest, distilled form of human suffering.

;_; those kids... they're good kids....

The Atonement arc, and the closing message from Sensei himself at the end, are the best ones so far.

And it's back. I'm not sure I'm ready for this...

We would like to make an official announcement that we will now be putting a 1 month delay on all of chapter releases here in bato.to... We will still however, release Yomawari Sensei twice a month, but it will be exclusively only for our reader. If you guys wish to read ahead of everyone, you may create an account in our forum and access our reader through there. Thank you! :)

Hard to find manga like this.

Keep it up

Well, if there was ever a reason for hurling accusations and starting a brawl, that'd be one of 'em. Just go full Viper of Dorne on them.

Ah who am I kidding.

God damn it! The father really should've been in jail for that...

The stories are strikingly real, there are children out there going through all that suffering and at the back of my mind, a voice is crying 'they shouldn't have to'. My entire perspective on children has changed. They are our tomorrow, but they're also fragile in different ways and need to be given care and attention. Thanks author, artist and LOLSans!

God fucking dammit, Yugo why? why!?

So much feel

The feelings ... the tears ... damnit all

I cry every time I read this

I...I have no words to describe my feelings right now

You know, after chapter 0, I'm always scared there's going to be a tragedy at the end of chapter. Especially, when they look so happy.

By the way, the author really does looks like the manga version of him

Well isn't it a given since this is at least based partly on his own experiences, or in other words a true story?

Don't be afraid to be a dreamer

We're glad a lot of people appreciate this manga as much as we do! ^-^

We're gonna do our best to bring you guys more of this xD
