When he told us to look at the sky, the last thing I thought about was aliens...
Anyway, I hope this gets serialized. Good enough premise, but it still lacks something special, I guess. Very good read about cake though. Reminded me half the things I had forgotten and taught some other novel stuff as well.
I find it really funny that Tamiki-sensei chose this theme considering the protagonist from his last work...
You know... Keima hates sweets, this one shot was literally all about sweets (read as cake)

imo I think it is actually quite good. You can't expect much for a one-shot within its limited frame. I like the sporty Ayumi-like main girl Nanoha, and the alien fox boy with his pervert form too
This story plot if executing well enough could really become a good new series, as long as it just keeps the E.T comedic mischief and cake baking as its main theme and don't stray away from that. Basically the story is about the young girl is trying to revive her grandpa's famous bakery which her dad has ruined it, with the help of the shota alien, of course, but she will eventually try to become a good baker herself without relying on him. Then put in some new characters from space, the alien customers.. like in TLR, and expand to Nanoha's school life as well, with her friends, and some trips to another planets.. but keep out of serious plots like star wars or fighting stuff and just do slice of life comedy, just like Keroro Gunso when the invasion can't happen because earthlings continue to thwart the alien's plan.
Wakaki's strongest point, in the end, still belongs to comedy genre. What made TWGOK popular and highly re-readable, for me, is the comedic flavor never getting old in nearly every panels, especially in the capture arc and goddess arc. I could still laugh at his old joke when I reread after one month or two. What I see in this one-shot is he's still doing his work fine
The horny side of the alien boy could be useful for fanservice and comedic situation, if Wakaki want to throw some ecchi flavor into the manga, and yes I really appreciate that
, but don't overuse it like TLR

Well this oneshot was fine, not great but it was something nice to read for a couple of minutes. Thanks for this oneshot, I am expecting some other great work from this author.

what can i say... TWGOK end was meh imho, so this is a just continuation of his meh status...
After TWGOK ended, I think the author is trying something new...this is a bit "meh" though
