Yankee-kun to Megane-chan

This manga;s ending is...how should I describe? It is like watching the mangaka builds up the beautiful lives of all characters, with development and anything, then sends them all to hell with a train crash.
Serious warning: think carefully before reading. I read all 212 chapters in 1 day and lost all respect for a mangaka treating his own work like this.
P/s: good thing I dropped Yama-whatever at the middle of the 2nd arc.

I don't remember what this manga is about but this somehow brought tears to my eyes.

Though I wonder if it would really be a problem, seeing as how they are both the same age.

A sequel with her going to college and them getting into a relationship would be welcome.

Well, that epilogue chapter made me feel a bit better. I really wanted Adachi and Daichi to end up together. I guess it's pointing in that direction.

OMG....This epilogue....it repairs a lot of what I hated about the ending. They didnt go full reset.. Bravo.... I can offically love this manga again

After two years it finally makes sense.

It wasn't without flaws but it certainly is leagues above what we had.

omg, this was a great series, I read all of the chapters in a few days... and then I got cheated with the ending.

This is either the most depressing ending there is for a gag manga or the most horrible ending. Adachi just up and disappeared the entire ending arc. Through out the series, it implied she was either in a yakuza family or government official or some sort of family with a lot of power. IDK where the author was going with that, maybe he was planning some princess rescue arc and then back out of it.  

And then when she come back... It been 4 years since she disappeared, and she disappeared when she was in her 3rd year, AFTER she got accepted into uni. So how the hell does she went to another school to start over from first year?!  

and her appearance remain unchanged which got the theory that Shina is hallucinating her return. Which not only make the ending depressing, it still does not explain why she missing in the entire ending and wtf is going on with her family. And then there the whole girls fall in love with him left and right, yet nothing resolved at the end.

What was up with that? Where did that horrible ending come from? Did the mangaka completely forget the name of the damn series is "Yankee-kun to Megane-Chan"? That was just absolute garbage. I honestly wonder how the mangaka came up with that ending and thought it was a good idea to roll with it, because I guarantee you, anyone else in the world could've come up with a more satisfying ending.

And those last few chapters were just all over the place. They didn't feel anything like YanMega originally did. So disappointed. However it was still well worth the read, one of my favourite mangas hands down, incredibly hilarious and surprisingly touching.

this manga literally changed my life. I read all 214 chapters (+ extras) in 4 days, even staying up 3 days in a row to read it. and then I broke down in tears. It made me finally realize that which I already knew, that as a 25yo NEET I have wasted almost my whole life so far hiding in my room, never applying myself and only passively making friends. It made me decide to move out, get a job, take more than 3 classes a semester, and force myself to make friends faster than they graduate and move away.

I mean I even liked the resolution but what the fuck did they even do to one of the main character's who's name is even in the fucking title.
