I need to voice my complaints, so here we go:

In the end, I'm just annoyed this is going nowhere. Even though I know manga is likely their only source of income so they have to balance the speed with that, too, but even so, this is plain procrastination at this point. Short chapters with only ever a small smudge of a new development which is shrouded in the mystery of all the bigger questions going unanswered since ten months ago or whatever.

 

I love CLAMP but I hate the snail-like pacing of this manga.

 

Regardless, thank you for providing us with the chapters, Waterflame Scanlations. CLAMP can be a pain in the ass with their double meanings, I keep reading from translators, so really good work and thank you for your patience.

New chapter really gives me a strong Clow Reed and Tsubasa Chronicles vibe, especially considering how Watanuki closely resembles Clow Reed. What if Watanuki subconsciously strongly wished for Yuuko to come back again and this is the result.

I think this is placed before that long time-skip, since Himawari was still alive after he came back from that dream world where the fake "Yuuko" was.

Himawari and Doumeki's descendants have always gotten together and had exactly two children one female and one male to continue the line and not live Watanuki alone. (Most likely not canon but just my thought of how it'd be possible)

I just had the worst time reading this chapter because I suddenly remembered that this is Doumeki's descendant and not actually Doumeki. It's ancient history but it hits me in the kokoro every time.
