I remember seeing a documentary where they showed a large group of cats living together. It was cats in Rome around the Colosseum or a similar spot.
About cats , while they are vicious them suddenlyforming giant hunting groups is just weird. And them ganging up on the dog. Essentially a small animal in big numbers has been introduced in the area and big humans have disappeared. Neither would have that effect.
I doubt crows would be like this, I can say for sure cats wouldn't all be like this

Cats only eat 1/10 of their kills, a lot of the wildlife they kill is just for fun. When they play with the toys they exhibit all the behaviour of killing their prey. They grab it by the neck, then use their back claws to gut it or they'll catch things out of mid air. It's why almost every one of their toys are based on that hunting instinct.
Crows on the other hand are probably smart enough to wait for the people to die before eating them. They might still be able to recognize them as people since they're one of the smartest birds. They even pass on information between themselves so if one person helps or hurts a crow, all the others will know about it and treat them accordingly.
My thoughts exactly. as much as i hate the cats for re-appearing all the time and killing people, i always have to remember that they would indeed act this way in real life. even if they dont mean to kill you. i believe humans at that size to be very brittle, so i dont think they could hold back their strength. and i'm actually surprised that the cats dont eat them since they are carnivores. with the crows. if its small, a crow will eat it. and since the humans are plentiful, and there is nothing big around to stop them, other crows from neighboring city's would even come there to eat people too.
What apocalypse? I don't see the world ending...
