Indeed, it certainly isn't rainbows and sunshine, despite how it is portrayed. It is -interesting-, though. Possibly not for the reasons the author intended, mind, but it's a one-shot so I can't really read much into it.
...on a different note, gender identity aside, I think the MC's family relationships are already irrevocably shattered at this point. The family's even farther out of line than the wolf, y'know?
And lo, Hayato was punched in the face for being an utter tool and Satoru got all the pages needed to reverse the curse. But for all of Hayato's entreaties, it was wholly Satoru's choice whether the curse was broken or not in the end.
Or at least that's how it *should* have ended.

Yeah I'm not sure I would call it "cute" to potentially completely and permanently destroy a persons entire Gender Identity and relation with their family just 'cause you think their face is pretty. Especially when you then demonstrate that you'll chase anything pretty and the person whose life you may have just ruined forever isn't anything special to you.
