Yup, exactly. I wouldnt like to be used as bait either. And if you have another home, which no one knows about, why not try to get there? Thats the thing he tried and I can totally understand it. And now after hearing that witches like Suri created those demons, I would be even more careful about what to do.
Im curious now how the story will progress. Sadly we will have to wait for translations. Maybe I will read the reads, or more like look at them, but thats jsut not enough... *cries in a corner*
Suri Cares for his safety? Where exactly did she show that to him? When she threatened to kill him? When she made light of the possibility of him dying and stated that she would only protect him so long as she could use him as bait? Was it how she mocks him whenever they talk at all?
Dude We got to see her little "I promised to protect him woe is me I'm a failure" moment, which unless I'm forgetting something is literally the first time in the entire Webtoon that she's shown the slightest concern for anyone save herself.
He didn't get to see that. From his point of view every interaction he has had with her has shown that she doesn't care about him at all.
EGS drops it, because it gets translated officially by naver now. Thought their english translations are not the best quality. Plus, they only got 4 chapters so far. So we have to wait a long time until they caught up again. Same like Kubera -.- I hate it argh mfASDfjuhAFSdfapdhU

Hmm just found this, read it in one go. The protagonist... is not very likable. Bu I'll give him the benifit of the doubt, i hope he has a reason for being an ass.

Also, I guess the reason he's good at robbing people (Nami level good) is so that he can steal Su~ri's heart. AWWW YEAH!
I wonder if he pickpockets for the thrill of it or it is just compulsion or due to past trauma? The guy can't seem to help himself at robbing people blind.
Just found out about this series - Found it quite interesting, to the extent I even went to look at the raws
. The fact that it has an offcial translation is... Both good and bad, I guess - while it guarantes a chapter every week, it also means that if easy going scans decide to stop scanlating this, it'll be at least a couple of months until those of us who don't know korean will be able to fully enjoy a new chapter. And since it'll only update once a week, it won't catch up to the current raws anytime soon...
Edit: Oh, and junnynam, that blog seems to be down, is there anywhere else one can hope to find up-to-date translations of the raw chapters? *_*
First of all he didn't "provoke" a fight from the three thugs (at least it wasn't implied that he did so) he asked them for directions to the new school and they tried shaking him down for money... so he stole their wallets in reprisal. To steal from someone while they are aware of your presence takes a stupidly high degree of skill. It's just like the sleight of hands that stage magicians pull on people. You know they are tricking you, you know it's fake but, damned if you know how they pulled it off. In this case though the thugs on't even have an idea that they just had their wallets stolen and will think that they lost them. Scuffle or not to be able to pull something like that in the middle of a situation proves that he's an expert level pickpocket. (also seems to be a kleptomaniac though)
I have not seen the original text for chapter 13, nor would I be able to translate it since I do not know Korean. However, reading EGS's translation, I feel like "that burglar bitch" should have been translated as "that theiving bitch".
