For some reason, the cliche level of this manga is too terrible that I actually like it. LOL.

^ It's not what you didn't mention, it's the order in which things were mentioned. You were already accusing Mx0 before you had mentioned that series getting the axe was even a problem.

Sure, I never said a series getting axed was not an unfortunate experience. But as I stated, your statements were written in such a way that the implication was that the series had problems with it that were unrelated to receiving the axe.

wow, i just realized someone reply back to this months ago, so sorry for not noticing earlier

>"your statements were written in such a way that the implication was that the series had problems with it that were unrelated to receiving the axe."

>"series had problems with it that were unrelated to receiving the axe"

>"were unrelated to receiving the axe"

the series went off course so far till the end , they dont even have a proper plot closure during the axe ending

"imma train in the end at different school, with different students, different teachers, and different friends, so imma see y'all back soon in the future, wait fo me ya hear?"

[training montage/image/panel ensued , and then, the end]

*standard Kano Yatsuhiro epic fail ending, like that mirror manga*

whatever happened to the "become a proper wizard" / "show heroine dead mother through magic" / "get a real genuine gold/platinum card" / "rule the world if i got magic question related"

and in the end , they never even properly explain the mc's background, the loli mother , and the father never really properly introduced,

what did i didnt mentioned again?

You didn't mention anything about axed series until after you had already said "I'm looking at you, Mx0".

and like it or not, an axed series is still an axed
no matter what type of axed it is, a series got hacked by axe and axed for good

You didn't mention anything about axed series until after you had already said "I'm looking at you, Mx0". If you had meant to suggest a point about axed series, it did not make it into your main argument, and thus you were presenting Mx0 to illustrate a point about bad series, whether you meant to or not.

i even mentioned nurahiyon no mago, rosario x vampire, i never said they were bad in the first place specifically, in fact, they were really good, (except rosario x vampire II) they are just in there mixed up without being categorized ,

you can verify this when i mentioned fuuka (which is bad), and suzuka, (which is good), and i mentioned cavalier of the abyss (which you can understand that it is a bad sequel) of whom i didnt mentioned its good predecessor (immortal regis) [which is good btw, but with shitty ending just to synchronize with its sequel

Rosario X Vampire start with awfully good plot in the first place, a normal human transferred to supernatural being and yokai's school, the only normal dude, a good starter like Mx0, and you can understand the rest...

while Nurahiyon no mago started with a very good, promising and neat plot, and it stays that way until the end , 1/4 yokai blood dude suppose to inherit position from his yakuza yokai family, that is very good plot, but it lost it hypes when its almost reached the end, not that i can blame them, just blame the otaku community of japan for not recognizing such good manga like this, and Mx0 too, which i understand was axed for the same reason, lost its hype and popularity at japan

woa there, before you randomly quote me, you should read the rest of'em
i said axed manga that forgotten, but stays in my follow list, giving me false hope and vivid dream that it seems one day, there's gonna be a continuation of it, but the reality slap in and remind us that either way of sink in or shot down, it was still brutally axed

Whoa there. Before you go randomly accusing good manga of bad things, how about you do some research? Mx0 was axed by Jump because it didn't do well in the polls they give their Japanese readers. There was no problem with the story itself. As for the ending? He left it open so he can continue it when Jump finally gets their heads out of their asses. Given the pitiful amount of time that Jump gives mangaka to wrap up an axed story, that was quite a smart move on the part of Kano-sensei. Mx0 didn't "sink"; It was shot down.

A LED SWORD you fucking with me??

WHAT IS THIS, SAINTS ROW 4?

So bad it's actually good, nope,it's just bad. insta-follow.

that moment when there's no good manga these days (or too less good manga) , any promising starter manga like this is enough to make you desperate enough to follow it in hope it will be better in the future soon

back in the old days, a manga had to be really famous enough , long running enough with actual interesting plot before i have to actually find a permanent website to register membership just to follow or bookmark it, like Oh my goddess, Psyren, Kyo, Berserker, and etc,

a good example of these would be Naruto, Bleach, Detective Conan, Negima! and etc (these manga get good enough to be recognized worldwide, seriously you can go to any slum or cheap store in some dark alley in indonesia or malaysia and find a translated manga of Naruto, Doraemon, Negima! and etc)

these days, either you float it (the ideas, squeeze the hell out of it) or you sink with it (when the idea is dead by oneshot or bad in midway and it had to be rushed ending and forgotten)

IM LOOKING AT YOU MX0 , YES YOU!!!

YOU TOO NURAHIYON NO MAGO!!!

AND YOU TOO ROSARIO X VAMPIRE!!!

AND OF COURSE, YOU TOO CAVALIER OF THE ABYSS!!

AND LET'S NOT FORGET YOU TOO SUZUKA AND FUUKA!!!

*seriously they just made a manga out of mc child from last manga just to kill her mid way and still using her name as the manga's name - just how much sadistic can the author get? sheesh~!*

this is just like that old hentai anime spaceship agga rhuter , so much character buildup just to be abandon, forgotten and dive along when the axe came, or when author things he can get streetwise by adding so much confusing twisted plot just to keep his work up for another heartbeat for another day

I actually feel kinda bad for getting that reference.

i know that the story is super cliche/generic and all but for some reason I still cant stop reading it, it's black clover all over again.

Unless everyone participating in the rank battles starts out at rank 'S' (hey, it's their imaginations, right?), and assuming Miss Moderate Luck is at the lower end of the S rankers, I would estimate these rank battles as having a minimum of 18,000 players. (3000 S rankers * 6 total ranks [S, A, B, C, D, E]) Including F rank bumps this up to 21,000 participants

Assuming each rank has fewer members then the previous rank, and that this value change multiplicativly stead of exponentially (i.e. S=3000, A=4000, B=5000, etc VS S=3000, A=6000, B=12,000, etc.) there are a total of 33,000 participants. (ranks S through E: 3000+4000+5000+6000+7000+8000) Including F rank bumps this up to 42,000 participants.

If we assume there is some degree of exponential growth, even assuming the growth is neither linear nor consistent. (i.e. the number of rankers per rank is chosen by convenience rather than some formula) then we could feasibly assume a minimum of 97,000 participants. (for S through E I used: 3000+5000+9000+15000+25000+40000) Including F rank (I'll use 70,000) brings the total to 167,000.

If we assume there are twice as many participants per rank in descending order then there are 189,000 participants. (S through E: 3000+6000+12000+24000+48000+96000) Including F rank (192,000) brings the total to 381,000 participants.

. . . All of this assuming Miss Moderate Luck is at the bottom of the S rankers. (Meaning if she isn't we can  bump these numbers up even more.)

Maths.

Deal with it bros.

You lost me at LED!  Try Again!

Chapter 6. Page 26

Spoiler

This is pretty cringe worthy and completely cheesy. All of the things that he yells out makes me embarrassed that I'm reading this. I kinda had high hopes for this in the first chapter but after he got his power, I just couldn't handle it. Also I don't understand what's so cool about having something stupid coming out of your eye like a flower or a butterfly, that shit is dumb.

Award Winning, is that a joke?

That animated Error-tan tho...

So if his power is derived through amplification of imagination through the medium of the cellphone, why does he not use the "level booster" on the cellphone itself to increase his power further?

that's called a loop hole

almost all the mangas and anime have it, people just ignore it, like plot armor.

also, just noticed this is a webcomic, was wondering why it was familiar but no on my list, lol.

and yea, as everyone else said, this manga isn't that original nor good enough to qualify for an actual award... especially for webcomics, they got random awards there... anything goes cause it's Digital awards.

So if his power is derived through amplification of imagination through the medium of the cellphone, why does he not use the "level booster" on the cellphone itself to increase his power further?

Your examples are miserable. Kanojo is about him wanting a GIRLFRIEND, not powers..... And has quite a few more other works in the same genre, which totally doesn't relate to this. It's the 'Magical Girlfriend' genre btw.

Your other example is bad because it's a comedy that shines around him not having anything despite his best effort. Other similar works have nothing in common with this at all. See things like D-Frag, Fujimura-Kun mates, ect....

This is actually most similar to Rising X Rydeen, except without the useless powers part. Perhaps the Gamer, or maybe Veritas... Or any of the new light novels staring main character that suddenly gains powers, I shouldn't have to list this.

And for the record, 'Resisting the Call' is significantly more frequent then being hyped for getting powers. In fact, most such chuuni-manga style themselves around the character coming to terms with reality and trying to change their image.

Bizarre IS unique. I won't deny it's a little simplistic, but it's far from generic... Lets hear what you think is original, since your examples were miserable.

Final point: 'I don't know what series you have been reading'. If it has english translations on this site within the last 2 years, I have read it, or at least started and dropped it.

If you're so oblivious to higher-level concepts as to say this is a unique premise because the person wants pleasure A (powers) instead of pleasure B (girlfriend) and he's gunning for it with his determination or imagination or whatever, I have nothing to say to you. You haven't shown me anything at all that proves that the character interactions in this story are any different from the ones I listed.

There are plenty of series that don't have such braindead leads and/or preach different morals. O/A and Hitoribocchi no Chikyuu Shinryaku are easily two off the top of my head that I can list.

Also to the guy that pointed out that it is indeed a webcomic - that supplements my point about this NOT being unique. I don't think you understand how the argument works.

Please stop

This is terrible.
