No, the translator is just using the Korean transliterations/pronunciations for them. I'd prefer seeing the correct names normally shown on a modern English map, however.
Maybe the author chose to change the names...
Well, as a Chinese guy, I think I should say something.
It's not "Yu" for the name of the tree, it's "Liu".
The city is "Hangzhou" not "Hangju", and the place is "West Lake" not "West River".
As to why I know this, it's because I've lived there.
Well, the art's super pretty. That's reason enough to give it a follow for now, lol.
