In the end the important thing is that the characters lived and died true to their Veritas.
Obsessed with their goals and ideals. The fights and their outcome are secondary to this.
The end was true to the message of the manga IMO.
Rereading / reading til the end this time really got me depressed :'(
I put this right up there with my favs, sadly the chances of the author continuing this seem quite grim, but I will not give up hope..like ever, be it tens of more years!
And for anyone wondering, the ending was actually very well done imo, leaves a lot room for head cannon and a good continuation.
I don't want to spoil it, but it pretty much ends with talk about the future and w/o showing you the outcome of the final fight.
You found Veritas complicated?? LOL
As others said, both the manga and the protagonist himself were a breath of fresh air in this particular genre. The nihilistic mindset of the characters, the combination of sci-fi and traditional martial arts, the offbeat, unconventional and badass main character, the battles, the humor!
What's not to like?
Even the ending, that was rushed because the mangaka was made to end the series, and which is the biggest complaint of this manga's fans, was great IMO , because it was true to the massage of the story.
All in all, it's manga that stands out among as a lone island in the huge ocean of mediocrity this genre offers.
This....
Ugh.
The comments were spot on, and I haven't even read everything.
My only complaint is that, instead of chapter 69, the manwha starts to fall apart already at chapter 30-50-ish.
Veritas should have the "Mystery" tag in it, because that's how everyone's actions and motives are for almost the entire story. you see the characters talk, and debate, and plan, in such a baffling and non-informative manner, that you can never really grasp why they're so adamant about their goals, or why it's so important. And the reason everyone's goals are so obscure -- is because the protagonist does not give a shit. He just wants to get stronger, but the narrative keeps putting the protagonist on the bus, in order to put other characters' problems on the spotlight. Problems nobody gives a crap about.
Veritas is a manwha which focuses on petty vendetta-fantasies and bureaucratic hog wash, which require complex conversations to be held with way too many participants, and plans to be discussed in great detail...But the protagonist doesn't give a fuck.
If I haven't pushed the point already -- people simply TALK TOO FUCKING MUCH, I came for a story about some hot-head whom fights to the top against the odds,
Instead -- I got some sort of political-intrigue with interactions so obscure that it's like I walked into a conversation mid-way, and I can't follow everyone's quips, assertions and the moment I ask them to clarify what they're talking about, everyone leaves the room. Only late in the manwha does the reader know why they need to plan and talk so much... But I, personally, really do not care about any of it.
This was a huge headache, and it seems like, going by the comments, that the entire "foreshadowing" going on, went absolutely bloody nowhere.
Ugh.
TLDR: These 50 chapters are nothing but pseudo-foreshadowing for the final showdown. 50 chapters with very little plot, and a lot of obscure explanations, which practically go nowhere.
It's complicated, there are a lot of talks -- it's a headache, and I did not find it to be interesting for the most part, at all.
Started good, ending was shitty. You can stop reading after chapter 69 if you care about the story.
Hi hello where is the sequel.
I don't know, maybe, but there were fair amount of Panty Shots.
Really liked reading this. Bit sad by the ending, but still a good read.
Also, I think the ecchi tag should be removed?
Very good manwha. Shame it had to end abruptly. But was a good read overall.
Just started reading this by someone else's recommendation. I like the MC's attitude. It's good to see a different take on the protag after all these other comics. That's not to say other's can't be great, but MC's personality has a certain x factor that I can now see a lot of other works out there lack.
Is this Ma Gangryoung?! Maybe their contract with the last publishing company has ended!?

Really awesome!
The MC was a breath of fresh air. He was so direct and honest with himself about not being strong enough but that just spurred him on.
Really surprised by how good and different this is.
This masterpiece...I am speechless TT_TT
I can barely think of any other words to truly discribe this manhwa besides "Truly Amazing". It is a masterpiece I only wish I had seen more of it.
Every time I think of this manhwa, a little piece of me dies know that the end was truly the end..... I think the real reason for the tragedy tags isn't because of the deaths, but because of the untimely end of this series :/
I heard 2 things, the publisher told them that this manhwa can only be published as a webtoon, and that the author and the artist got in a fight, would've felt different if it became a webtoon, but it would've been way better than nothing.
It's something strange. I love the ennding so much, that I think that this was a perfect ending (it wouldn't be a problem if Veritas ends here), although after the end everybody wants more (including me), but I have fear: ¿what if the new season isn't enough good?
Of course The Breaker isn't this good, but there is a clear fall of the level in the 2nd season, and there's a lot of parallelisms with the both manwhas...
So awesome,no words!
I wish that there will be a sequel but honestly there
won't be...it had amazing potential and if they will continiue
this series it can become 1 of the top.
Depressed a little...
what to read now?!
This is indeed a pretty great manwha
