what a waste of potential
This manga had great potential, but devolved into asspull after asspull. I guess they had to expedite the plot to its final destination, in anticipation of being axed. It may have been rushed, but at least it has an ending.
So... this manga got axe? (or at least it felt like it)
It did a shortened plot style where instead of traveling to find pieces of body parts, they were all found by the enemy instead all at once and did a random ending with a time skip to the future.
There was another manga that did the same style and I know that one got axed.
I didn't say they did...
I actually have really high hopes for the return of IB. Considering how amazingly well Kaguya's doing I think Akasaka Sensei may actually get his chance. If he does it would be the first time I've seen an author achieve that.
And thus, Momotaro the Demon Slayer was born.
that was it? the scent of the Axe is strong. it feels like a guillotine on your neck.

Welp. At least they gave the author a chance to end it all in 1 chapter rather than just axing it outright and leaving it unfinished. Such a shame though...
So rushed... What ever happened to the captain samurai from before the first time skip? And did the brother just back off after she came back to life?

Such wasted potential... It makes me sad that this gets canceled while the mindless hordes of isekai LN adaptations get far more attention. No accounting for good taste apparently.

Strange storytelling. There is lot of started plots/subplots that got crushed instantly, halfway though it we had the feeling that it got axed, introduce character to kill them right away, ... It feel like the author was planning for a bigger story but could only keep the big lines.
Geez... here I thought that with chapter title such as "Princess Yomotsu", everyone would be able to guess more or less what might happen to Chiyo on this chapter.
