Ok, really! Stop poking a holy corpse of BLAME! - it's embarrassing how you fail every single time
If anyone's curious, the code was copied and pasted from http://lxr.free-electrons.com/source/kernel/groups.c
It handles supplementary group ids for users on a linux system.
Of course, the programs in the terminals most likely just copy-pasted from somewhere.
I'm not sure how coincidental it is, but I like how "deleting" those enemies involved him looking at memory allocation code. The big gun didn't make quite as much sense, but it still was generic enough to not be completely inconceivable. That said, swapping out running code in that big of a running C program... quite the IDE, there. :'p
This deserves serialization,
or at least a few extra chapter or continued in another oneshot.
So many question unanswered.
The programs in the terminals most likely deal with image processing and filters. It is C.
Am I the only one who thought Ena's suit looks like the plug suit in evangelion and the connection pod, from the inside and a bit from the outside, resemble the entry plug. It kinda reminds me more of evangelion in more ways than the matrix like the HQ.
Still a damn good read.
Anyone know if this is related to Blame? Seems similar but it says the author is different. Like a prequel or something.
They die? :C
This was amazing! I'd love for this to become a game
yah its like matrix in more of a darker plot scenario
notbad.
Blame style!
That...was....very.....
Interesting. o_o
Sounds like the Matrix, only quite a bit darker, and without the human harvesting.
i do not understand the plot
