I'm glad it got an update here (thank you, foreign language update), because I was able to find and read this fine piece of work again. I have been reading and re-reading the finer mangas I've gobbled up in the past, and I remember works by Yoshida Motoi and Toume Kei, but I also remember this work has made quite an impression on me back then but I just couldn't remember its title. And lo and behold, because of the update, I was able to re-read it, thanks Rakuen no Fansub fansubs.

I really recommend this, it's a good read, one without being too stimulating, which is indeed a nice change of pace.

I wouldn't say it's a sad ending,

but thanks for the spoiler anyway.
I made the right choice of reading this first before coffee time.

This is really underrated.

best i've read in a while.

It's just got this feel to it... that you just don't see very often anymore. The storyline isn't packed with meaningless plots or deviations. It is what it is, and it's 11 chapters of pure development.
I wouldn't go so far as to say it's my favourite manga, but it's definitely a nice change of pace.
This is simply my favorite manga. Strong emotions conveyed in a subtle way, a nice build up of tension with some comic relief. The characters feel alive, and the drawing style is elegant without being flashy. I like the economy of means (length is kept suitably short), but most of all that the reader's intelligence is acknowledged and made use of.
