Not necessarily. Another manga by the same author had the hero and heroine live together for a long time after defeating the big bad.
Hmm, the whole thing of her being suddenly a murderer and everything kinda reminds me of the movie "Jennifer's body"
There we also got some girl possessed by some kind of demon^^
But really, this kind of story already tells the ending:
Shit hits the fan, guy sacrifices himself to save the good twin (or at least gets heavily injured in the process), evil twin dies and reverts back to "normal" a few second before dying, apologizing to her sister^^
No, I didn't read any RAWs and I don't know how far they progressed, but that's how these kinds of stories usually end
