Otousan's new work is about a girl who cooks 'youkai', reminds me a lot of Dungeon Meshi, but without the dungeon.

Nah, I dunno where you get that vibe from. None of the youkai from Zashiki Warashi are as good natured as the monster 'pets' here. Just consider how many people the Succubus and the Yuki-Onna have killed respectively before attaching themselves to Shinobu.
Oh, I know about the author but I didn't realize that the art is made by Horimiya artist.
