Well you can't really blame a straight man for having reservations about lodging a gargantuan wiener (or anything) up his butt, regardless if it's attached to the girl he loves. They've got a huge sexual compatibility issue right now and honestly, he's actually trying to solve it without hurting her emotionally which is commendable and a testament to how much he values their relationship. If he was really regressing, I'd think he'd have left her already or tried to write sex out of the picture altogether, which would also pretty much seal the fate of the relationship. I'd say he's doing pretty well all things considered.

I think it's more that he's looking for alternatives to getting her off that don't involve anal.  Like, if you had the choice between sticking a can of Monster up your ass or not, you'd probably choose the latter.  The only people that would choose the former are individuals who enjoy that kind of thing.  You can't fault someone for having different sexual preferences.

Was this manga cancelled? There was no tankobon release in few years.

I think my issue with the manga is that you can very much write a strong manga where a guy is confused about his sexuality due to his futanari girlfriend, but in this manga it's still continuously played for laughs and leaning hard into the stereotypes and conservative ideas that Japan has. It's not really...trying to break any of those types of views. And yes, I realize it's a comedy romance manga first and foremost but it can still be comedy while not feeding into those kinds of views.

That being said, it is at least doing better than a lot of manga tackling characters like this.

Why would he search for gay porn in the first place? There are enough women with strap-on on guy videos and even several eroge have this as their main theme where the whipped-b!+(# main character is only "dominated" and never gets to have normal sex with the dominant women in his "harem"...

Also, why is he so fixated on becoming the "woman" in this relationship? is he impotent and the "I got a boner"-thing was just his mental affliction telling him he's hard although he's limp?

With every chapter, it becomes more and more evident that he is clearly not normal, being unable to touch his girlfriend let alone kiss her. Kissing has the least hurdle of intimacy, even his friend could do it to him.

But, I also have to blame Futaba here, as she also is more after his body than his love, as she also was unable to kiss him and went straight for "sex".

Rather than being "virgins", they rather seem sexually frustrated.

I think the idea is that he kept getting distracted browsing the internet, and that an actual production from a studio would be more accepted and mainstream than what he was finding.  I think he was looking specifically for muscular man on man action and couldn't find it.

Okay this chapter did a lot to make me warm up to the MC. In another edition of "Oni is Reading Way Too Deep Into Manga" the MC is understandably resistant to this and has never before had to look at his sexuality or examine it in any particularly deep way. That's not shocking coming from a Japanese man in a society that stamps down hard on "otherness" and has some pretty conservative views on sexuality and gender (which explains how strong their "behind closed doors" sex scene is). As such it actually shows a pretty big leap and effort to understand the person he loves if he looked up information, researched (albeit just Googling) and went out to try and how even though he reacted strongly against it and kept wondering what he was doing...he still continued (and got a boner!). So even though it makes him very uncomfortable in dealing with a topic he's never had to ever think about before in a society where there isn't a lot of open acceptance of stuff like this (which informs his view) he still was thinking about her and this might be the strongest indication that his feelings are true because he basically says "If I really love her this has to be something I need to learn about/learn to be okay with" which is an extremely mature way to react. Would I like it more if he simply invesitgated without freaking out or didn't make as many "no I'm NORMAL" jokes like they often do with homosexuality or gender in manga or somesuch? I mean, sure, but for what this manga is this is still a marked and strong improvement both in the manga as well as the MC in total.

So I think he's actually risen a bit in my eyes.
