Turtle Paradise Scans has to have some of the best translations I've ever seen, especially of shoujo manga. :D Fantastic work guys! Thank you very much!

The story itself was pretty good (and complemented by the gorgeous art). I feel like it was still cut a little short. There definitely could have been some more development of Kizuna's past (how did she get a sponsor...?) and some work with the other residents. Otherwise, it was a pretty unique work in the repetitive shoujo landscape, so I'd say read it if you're craving a fairly good manga. :)

Why is this tagged as gender bender?

Decent series although I wasn't too fond of the ending. The artwork is supreme though.

I think it was mentioned in one of the translator's note but I can't find it anymore, is William Child based on a real person ?

@Video Mantic: the novel got 6 volumes.
I Love This Manga! It's a little confusing in some parts but I really enjoyed it all together.

Does anyone know if the light novel is longer than the manga?
aww, it ended. well it's a nice end so i'm satisfied. thank you birdcage manor.
Such a nice conclusion to this manga :3 I'm happy it didn't drag on to long and kept the story nice and simple :)
It is now. Pretty good end, I thought.
It's been a nice journey. Kind of melancholy to find it's over.
oh wtf i thought the manga was completed - disregard my spoiler comment....
That was a great read and manga

Good manga. The author did a great job adapting part of the novel, and the scanlators did their job really well, too. Thanks for a great read. Now, I will just have to find the novel in English somewhere and read that.
That was a great chapter ><!!!!
Took your advice and read Hakuji and really liked it. I do like this on better though, as all the characters seem more real to me (I've actually known artists very much like Asai San). I also like the Maisson Ikkoku like apartment they live in, full of "individuals" and misfits. Again, more realistic than Takahashi Sensei's work, but the setting here is more than for the laughs.

So far, a really great story, and I love Kizuna. She is growing in an interesting way, and is a great and in-depth character.
Hakuji is one of the best romance manga in my opinion!
I'm SO glad I found Hakuji again; thanks, iloveleonard! That and this one are at the top of my faves.
@iloveleonard, Hakuji was beautiful!
Liar: It's a good one, innit? That one Vueiy was asking about, Hakuji, is pretty good too.
Hope the ex thing worked out OK in the end.
I haven't read this in years! The last time I read this was when my ex left me...

Fun, fun, fun!
Wait, why are there 2 Kizunas?
Vueiy, I think it's Hakuji by Morie Satoshi.

Anyone know of a manga similar to this one? I read it awhile back (it's completed), but I can't find it. There's a reclusive artist that's really shy and awkward, but he meets a schoolgirl one day and has her model for him. He had a male assistant/agent/helper-person, and at some point the girl lost her sight due to an accident.
