Well yeah, we know why an older man who's emotionally stunted and kind of a creep would want a younger woman who's inexperienced and just as immature as him lol. Age gaps like that don't really work, regardless of genders, because the differences in life experiences are way too great.
Well, that escalated quickly, lol.
Actually, not that hard to get. 16 means typically you want a boyfriend. Oh, he's mature and is interested in me? How flattering!! He could get any woman, and he chose me.
Not that I agree, I just understand. And I think we all know why older men would want an immature girl who thinks he hung the moon and caters to his every whim...
I hope she gets away from him ok, escape from an abuser of that level is not easy.
Woo, finally! Thanks for the update, guys!
Gross. She was 16 when she started dating this guy that was 28 at the time. I wonder if they're ever going to explore that, or if they'll just use it for drama's sake. Relationships with that much power imbalance never end well, especially when the guy becomes abusive over something he was doing at the same time too (drinking with friends).
I hope this keeps getting translated so we can find out.
I also didn't realize it was such a chore to make hard-to-guess passwords. Especially since a lot of password protected things require capitals and numbers, and lock you out after some failures. She should make it a phrase like, hungryHipposeat41houseS or something. Easier to remember and harder to guess.
Thanks Stiletto!
lol descript sure gives off an NTR feel to it.
whoa, that bf is intense O_O
thanks for the release Stiletto Heels
Meh, for me the problem isn't common decency, it's that there was neither foreshadowing nor chemistry for the relationship as it ended up. So it pulled the rug from under our expectations and then failed to sell what it gave us instead. OK, the fact that what the ending went for was on the outrageous side was yet another reason it would have had to convince me pretty hard of its emotional rightness, but if it hadn't been a total sideswipe out of nowhere, which also kind of dumped characters I was fond of into the cold, that wouldn't have been such a huge problem. In the end I didn't really believe in their feelings--understandable since we're dealing with some pretty deadpan characters not prone to expressing strong emotions--but there you go, I don't think you could be true to those characters and still make me buy that ending. Yeah, it sucked.
But Usagi Drop in general was so good that the really annoying ending was not enough to make me regret having read it, or not want to read something else by the same person.
I'm not sure I follow the insinuation. There's plenty of reason to be very angry about how Usagi Drop ends--if my understanding from people's spoilers (lol, couldn't avoid) is even half correct, it takes a turn of events that's not just disturbing, but insulting to common decency. And that hurts more in an ecosphere where common decency can be hard to come by...
Holy crack, an update *_*
Couldn't have said it any better. XD
Yes, yes. Now go running back to your Seo Kouji manga.
