I enjoyed this! I did feel sorry for Ami and Minori when it became obvious that Ryuuji was falling for Taiga. Minori was the first girl that he liked and could have had him if she had not been such a good friend. Poor Ami really had no shot, and this doujin helped all of the Ami/Ryuuji shippers have closure. I was a Minori/Ryuuji shipper watching the anime as it aired by the way. I sank with that ship happily because Taiga became so gosh darn cute.
Ah yes. The ending I wanted but never got.

Rode the fuck out of that ship. Went down like the goddamned captain, saluting the happy couple as they sailed away, with tears of joy for their ending and bitterness for ours.
And after reading this, I feel 100% okay with anything. This is what I waited years and years for.

If anything, I wish they expanded her story in toradora. She felt like a solid character, but her side wasn't fleshed out where it could have been.
This was a sweet short story, not good enough on its own, but still cute.
