I want Shizuku to end with Yamaken though
I do think they suit each other more
The road which led me to this manga was surprisingly long (and suspicious) considering I usually just whack the Random button to death... But honestly, this here manga. <3 All the characters (even Iyo, lol) where interesting and fun, deep and in a rare-to-HS-shôjo -style easy to relate to. Must be because there's a lot of "inner dialogue" in here, we are led into their respective minds where in truth, the magic actually happens.
I'll be coming back to this (possible in the form of buying the volumes!). Thanks to the scanlators and to any who just found this one and are reading the comments before reading the actual thing, hurry up and read it, don't be chickens. ;D *shot*
And here I thought I had moved on already. But no, another chapter came up and untied all the strings I have tied up to hold myself together. Sigh. I really do love this manga. It's one of the best drawn-ones I've ever read so far. The characters were all pretty cute and their bonds with each other were good. I will miss them. I really would.
I loved it to the end, so I have no idea what you're talking about; after all, I'm here to look at it again, months later. I even get the little insecurities and fickleness that I usually hate because they're done in a way that I could say "Yeah! I totally understand that feeling when you're insecure about fitting in with the people around the person you love!" and "Yeah! I totally understand when I'm unsure whether the love I feel is actually love or if I'm confusing things because I don't know what love is!"
But then again, that might be because I just turned 17 now so I can relate to their problems more.
Of course I'm glad it ended there because more forced drama would have probably made it less interesting. I was actually happy they made that running joke about going on a fish boat a reality. That was just fantastic.
Haru is great, and goes good with Shizuku, but Yamaken-kun will always be my number one.
So, did Oshima have a BF or not? .-.
It's truly, truly never ending. It's over!...And now another volume!...and now Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun R!
But it's over for real now, and it's been a fantastic ride with literally everything I could ever ask, and it ended when it really needed to. Great overall, great ride.
Also: TAKAYA IS THE BEST, AND HAS THE BEST TASTE OUT OF EVERYONE.
I always knew Ooshima was beautiful, and would shine if given a little chance, but...DAMN. Just a few years pass and she's surpassed my wildest expectations, she's so top tier she's in a league of her own. Utterly gorgeous...Takaya knows what's up. Go for it, bud.

On the other hand she's supposed to be un-matched in terms of looks.
I guess if she had to develop a design that surpass all the other female characters ( now that they've grown up ) by a mile it might prove to be a challenge. So she kept her blank.

But seriously, I hope that the mangaka actually tries that series. It looks like it could be cool.
That's crazy, any time any of the grown up girls have been show, they're beautiful as hell. Not hot or sexy, but actually elegant and beautiful. I'm extremely in awe of her costume design as well, really adds a lot.
Oh, man, now I want to see the nonexistent series from the "ad" at the very end.
I thought Shizuku boobs grew too at the wedding dress scenes lol
I think that's the effect of her dress though, like padded cups, a corset to thin the waist and the poofy bottom part.
I see that she's working at her mother's firm in the very end, that's lovely. She has been wanting to spend time with her mother for so long. Of course it's work, but still I'm sure it's something she wants.
Speaking of the mother, we never see her face ( not even the 4-5 panels she appears on this chapter ). The reason is that the mangaka doesn't believe she can draw "beautiful" women. So she prefer to just show her womanly curves and nice full lips to show her how hot Mizutani mama is. Speaking of which, Shizuku got a few cup upgrades, she actually has breasts as you can see when she wore her wedding dress.
A shame we can't have more of her younger brother and his romance with the qt megane, I love younger guy x older girl pairings.
All in all, a good end to pretty much every characters.
I feel like I'm letting go of my child. It actually hurts that this series is ending. I can't even re-read it right now. ;_; It's been a beautiful ride.
Dayum..I really forgot who like...80% of the characters are already. Only remember Mizutani, Hari, Mizu's little brother and that girl with glasses.
tbh i forgot who most of the other characters were. lol. oh well, all's well that ends well ^^
Great series, great ending. It's kind of saddening saying goodbye to such a colourful cast of characters, I'll definitely being following Robico's next series too.

This manga was good because it didn't drag out. No sequel and let it end here, goodbye.
So it's finally ended. God damn, I'm really sad to see this go but I think I would have felt even worse if it dragged on. I actually liked the time skip, I love seeing what the characters grow into after the story and the wedding was beautiful.
Takaya grew up to be so cute! Just like Shizuka
