It's really, really nice to see how Sui Ishida experiments with comic expression.
I see some resemblance where in Minami landed a scratch on Arima, Kaneki does as well.
Not a bad short backstory. Rough art style was pretty fitting too.
I don't know. It's possible, but Arima doesn't strike me as one who would heed the words of a Ghoul, let alone their grievances.
Also, if skewering Kaneki's head twice is Arima's way of 'sparing' someone... :y
Anyway, this was a very good read, glad I finally decided to try it.
Do you guys think one of the reasons Arima spared Kaneki is because of what Minami said about Ghouls envying Humans?
He already knew who Kaneki was before their fight, and most likely also knew about Kaneki being a Half-Ghoul. If Ghouls envy being Human, imagine how a Half-Ghoul feels after being forced to throw away his humanity...
To be fair,touka has yoshimura and the anteiku for support, while minami has none. She have to survive all on her own.

yeah but in 2015 (january I think) comes 2nd season( to ruin Tokyo ghoul a little more
-.- ) and this should fit better after knowing what Arima is capable (kicking the living shit out of kaneki) that's why I think some OVAs should be made after that.
Agree.. But the anime is finished already as far as I know. Some OVA really would be nice or a new season..

I understand that Kawa Scans is lacking staff at the moment, but it's been three weeks since chapter 6 was published. Chapter 7 is the final one, so...
Although I finished reading the whole raw TG Jack long ago, I still look forward to English scanlations.
That ending for the chapter was so predictable.
Lol. Actually that is a one shot in Shounen Jump. The original one shot in Young Jump is different sadly it still has not been translated.
Thats because Kaneki didn't inherit the good sense of smell ghouls have.
He has fast regenerative capabilities.
In Tokyo ghoul:re
Ginshi Shirazu has got regenerative abilites while Kuki Urie has a good sense of smell.
it kinda reminds me of one ghoul who stalked kaneki all the time.. he had the same amount of obsession..
