I see love found a way.
YEah really, why he ended with nisekoi.... why?
So this guy does know how to write romance... how the heck did he end up with Nisekoi then...
Because
No. Like he said the parents noticed the illness too late and MC wished to live his remaining life normally and the device would have made him remembe it every day.
Some contradictions?
this is a happy ending. its a happy ending that accepts that life is short, that life is about what you do with your life not with how it ends.
I shouldn't have watch 5cmpersecond (again) before reading this T_T
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25-lY12SyJY (thesong at the end of the movie)
goddammit that song has so many uses, specially knowing how that song came to fruitition
Even this series only has few chapters, it will keep astounding.
I shouldn't comment for his Nisekoi, since I personally hadn't read it yet. But this... perfect!
Thousand applause for Komi sensei
WHY no happy ending ='(
protagonist is like the hero who doesn't wear cape.
What's with Komi Naoshi and guys with hair accessories?...
I meant the natural expressions, not the overboard reactions, where the faces become crazy. Like this face of Onodera, where her surprised expression was not over the top. I thought this style was simple, but expressive without changing the mood too much like those comedic, cazy faces. Because I can agree with you, that they became crazier towards the end of the story.
In later Nisekoi chapters the faces were still crazy, often crazier than in the beginning of the series. Of course towards the end it wouldn't have fit the mood and I think that's also true for this work. Playing around too much could have had a negative impact, I imagine.
Pretty decent oneshot, although I felt it was only an avarage one, before the twist happened.
But I have to say, I miss Komi's earlier artwork. Somehow his style changed to a style that is "Nice on the outside, but empty on the inside". The early Nisekoi chapters had a lot of freedom with facial expressions, head sizes, eyes and all that stuff and it was really expressive. It felt like the characters were alive. But now the expressions are kinda stiff most of the time with perfectly sized heads in each panel that feels so emotionless to me. :/
It's not the number of chapters, but the tone of their series'. KNIM had it's sad moments, just like Suzuka and Fuuka, but ultimately they are still more on the side of the romcom, slice of life genre, unlike Half & Half and Toki Doki.
My feels were destroyed. Naoshi what have you done.........
Tfw you know you've seen it coming but you still cried anyway.
Goddamn, I keep forgetting that Komi can actually write decent manga after Nisekoi. Double Arts was good too until it got axed. He and Seo Kouji should really refrain from making any manga that lasts more than 50 chapters.
maybe author naoshi should stick to making one shots? i mean nisekoi dragged way too much and (though i loved) double arts, it took quite a while to get to learning the double arts fighting style considering all the obstacles that kept popping up. but this, tokidoki, at max could i see it lasting a couple of chapters if it were made into a series but still maintain its impact
The male lead has brighter, more feminine anime eyes than the female lead. Overall, this was pretty funny.
