This current arc remind me of manga Shina's Dark

I understand that art/music/literature history may not apply here, but I can't help thinking of "swan song" when I see that Xiao É is not only a professional singer, but is a swan in her original form. Especially since I learned only recently that swan songs are named for the silent swans, which don't make noise until their final cry when they die.

Though I gotta say it's interesting as the comments say.
I did like the dog family and their color scheme.
But in the introduction......... Was there really no "purpose" word for the stringed instrument like the other items? And would it not be easier to call it zither (or I think it's a butterfly harp)? It looks similar to the instrument in Gu Fang Bu Zi Shang.
