i want to see the continuation =(

FUFUFU.............................ITS ALREADY A YEAR SINCE THE LAST UPDATE....

IS THIS MANGA ALREADY DEAD?

MAYBE I SHOULD GO TO KOREA

Must have more....!!!!!!!! Tho freakin good. Can't wait for the next set of volume releases, although chapter by chapter is fine too. Anyone know where I could read the Novel version in english? or at least get the scans to try to translate it myself?

This is the kind of attitude IM Dal-Young loves. He's going to hook you on the mahwa, then drop it, just to see the look of disappointment on your face. Then he's going to do it again and again. Actually, he's pretty much like a con man who plays on your feelings, then one day runs and leaves you with nothing. With the exception of Freezing, I wouldn't read any of his works that haven't ended and have comments saying "That was a good ending".

Here's your guide:

-Like being disappointed? Read Aflame Inferno or Legend of Maian or Zero - Circle of Flow or Re:BIRTH

-Like endings? Read Unbalance x Unbalance or Koimoku or Zero - The Gate of Beginning (Watch out for the epilogue trap!)

Lesson to take away: Make sure you look at the last update and read the comments section before you read any IM Dal-Young pieces. Good luck.

you guys can read it at MF or other site

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the description meant that the author wasn't going to continue the series again.

He's known for not finishing a lot of his series.

Someone should update this :P there is already 23 chapters relased and translated :D

It's part of A-Team's scanlation policy, as per

Such a major deja vu from this author. The plot, the start of the manga and everything is amazing but as it goes on only dissapointment with crappy conclusion or no conclusion, characters and their personalities are ruined.
After the first few chapters I am amazed at the depth of the manga, its powers, characters and mysteries behind them but as it goes further the author has the fetish of making the MC useless or just a cheap soap drama.

I didn't give any spoilers but just gave what I thought after reading most of this author's work. This author has its own personal disease, if only the author didn't have the talent to draw you into the story at the start and then totally traumatize you with crappy development.
Goddamit that sonuvabiatch Im Dal-Young, he has two great mangas, The Legend of Maian and this one, and he stopped to work on Freezing??
Im Dal Young again...
[/spoiler]I'm starting to think that he's an artist rather than the story writer. All the female figures look exactly the same in Freezing, Phantom King, Onihime VS, Aflame Inferno, Sai Taker, Re: Birth, Black God... The ones I've read so far all seem to be done by one author, and unless someone can convince me that those artists have the exact same drawing style, then I'll live my life believing that Im Dal Young is the artist.
It's soo good and still no update...
so much Im Dal Young work that there are no scans for how sad
man that cover...
As soon as I saw the sudden scene with the woman putting her clothes back on and slapping the protagonist, I thought "Im Dal Fucking Young". : /
ho man this is good
I think they made a typo on this page http://vatoto.com/read/_/108334/phantom-king_v4_ch13_by_scantily-clad/49 the 1 should be a 9 :P
I hate stories like this, I just read the first 2 chapters and it reminds me of a "Pet Cemetary" senario.. - Where there is 1 dude/orginazation trying his damn hardest to use the main protagonists, even though the protagonist before hand led a very peaceful life.

In ANY real life situation, as soon as the guy heard about the teacher he was sleeping with being a agent he would had been like "FUCK YOU" and would NOT had then followed them, and further more, the protagonists parents died during the attack, why would they just be cool and let that guy into thier house then talk about using them as research?

Idk, plots like these are retarded, obviously manga characters (seinen or not) do not act 'realistic' but when the plot is so generic it's fustrating/predictable to read.
@psycho_bunny
That may be so, but A-Team doesn't want their stuff uploaded.
this needs to be updated. it's already on chapter 20 translated.
its a manhwa so there is no anime based on this likely. It was a good story though so far.
the a-team recently picked this up, but they dont want their releases to be hosted anywhere. so if you want to read it, go to there website: http://www.ipitydafoo.com/
If you notice, the author (Or maybe authors?) have like ten manga ongoing at once.. So im guessing some get updates more than others. And this manga was probably axed. Has a good plot in the beginning.. But its flakey.

And S3x, ever think of.. Phantom King? XD. I dont think its an anime, but if there was an anime adaption, would be the same name :P.
I've seen an anime based on this ... I forgot the name. Anyone else remembers?
wow this is really good hope someone update this
