but wasnt all npc is just npc and have no free will (let alone befriend) toward player before shin end the game
i knew that this wolf guy is his companion (but still interact not like player) but shin just met him (the one that have free will) right? i dunt see the sentiment here

for the love of all thats holy PLEASE give me something light. I don't care if its fluff, filler or just two kittens cuddling, just PLEASE let the onion ninja have a few chapters off!

This is nothing compared to the LN, that scene was was supposed to be much much more heavier. I can't believe they cut out/rewrote the part the line we're when schnee asked him if he was really alright and he responded "I just killed my best friend" replaced with vomit inducing "I hate when my friend die"

I hope Shin now understands how his followers feel when he is not around.  He is a godlike figure to thousands and has a waifu who loves him more than anyone back on earth ever will. He had better not be be planning to leave still.  

I liked the way they handeld this scene. I hope if it ever gets an anime that they remeber to add in the emotinal bits as well.

Man. What a tremendous story arc. New Gate might be one of the few good isekai out there and this whole arc has been handled wonderfully. Legitimately choked me up at the end when Shin finally breaks down.

(tough there's several event before he start again ... and I wonder if this manga become another LN promotion or not, if this is promotion it will end up as "they continue their journey" open ending)

that is the reason why this i manga is one of my favorits. it is an isekai but with a good story and hugh load of feelings. =)

not-so-WOW?? its just normal? seeing this ziralt as a man of influence, i thought its just normal? if you taken an example like 'three-volley salute" on military or police funeral... we humans do a 'three-volley salute while them beastman do a proper salute according to their traits... wolf with howling, elephant with trumpeting, frogs with croacking, rabbit/mouse with squeaking, big kitty with roaring, bees with buzzing... ah... almost forgot, does anyone know what does the fox say?

Sure, but he only lived a couple decades and the vast majority of that time was as a normal human. He has only been a high-human for a short time and he still looking for a way to go back to his old life as a normal human.

also even in LN / WN, he still haven't found way to "back to normal human" ...

He was near death already. He wanted to go out in a bang. Not to lie in a bed and die that way. 
And I don't blame him. Better to burn out than to fade away.

I wonder how long a high human's natural lifespan is. Likely immortal since they were basically game avatars originally and there was no such thing as a lifespan and they simply spawned at adulthood or whatever.
