Yeah, i'm just saying things in general, context sure is important. By the way, baka-updates lists this as discontinued, is it going have an abrupt ending?
Ah... it's the helsing mangaka, doujin and helsing... Seems weird combination, better read it mmm...
You would be right for general otaku, but not in the context of this manga. Otaku can also be translated as 'you' (as in, another form of 'anata') given the right context, so literal translation of 'otaku' without any regards to the context is a bad translation. What being referred to as otaku in this manga is strictly manga and anime otaku and it should be understood as such.
I was wondering why the cover is like that if the story is simply about a guy trying to make it in doujin world but then
>Hellsing author
Suddenly it makes sense.
Just want to say that the term otaku is not limited to only manga and anime nerds. It's a term to describe someone who is obsessed in a topic. For example, there are train otaku, ship otaku, etc.
>THAT artist/author
>THAT story/theme
lol why
Author/Artist is Hirano Kouta. Regardless of the subject, that automatically makes this a story about badasses. Going by chapter 1, that rule wasn't broken here either.
