Wow, she has long, black hair and uniforms, beast ears and tail, and is a glass character. This combo got over 9000 hits. Oh, not to mention her black stockings, they added another 9000 hits to the combo.
Character design aside, the story was pretty short and cute. I would love to see more, but serializations after a good one-shots are more than often disappointing. (for me, it's mostly due to high expectations from the one-shots)
According to MU, the title is Kitsune no Koibito or "The Fox's Lover" (from my broken Japanese). "The Fox Lover" means something a long the line of cat lovers, or puppy lovers.

Both of them are different, and learn to accept it, and accept each other. Very sweet.
I do not think it needs to be serialized, or even that it would work well if it was stretched beyond its short format. The story says all it needs to without the unnecessary fluff.
I can see some potential in this becoming serialized but not very much.
