I think the point of his tsukkomi isn't necessarily there to make you laugh, but simply make you amused through out the whole thing.
I watched Kitakubu and it did give me the same vibe too. Not all parts made me laugh but it is amusing enough to watch, as it just four people doing boke and tsukkomi joke (and occasional meta joke / random events).
That was pretty bad. Most of the jokes were pretty obnoxious, especially the 4th wall jokes.
Granted, it wasn't all that bad, but praising this guy for his tsukkomis is way of an overstatement. Anyone can come up with stupid conclusions and then have someone else comment on them.
Well, meh. It was amusing enough to read through.
No need to censor it, since this oneshot was published by Square Enix and all...
Obviously the name of the protagonist comes from Sq*****nix
Bahaha, absolutely great.
Now that's power leveling, 21 levels with just 1 enemy mmm...
