However, Miwa finds herself drawn to the goofy young man, whose name is Haruo. To Aya's annoyance, Miwa develops a major crush on him and talks about him constantly. But could anything come of this crush, since Miwa is a first year high school student and Haruo is an adult? Miwa starts to get to know Haruo, meeting him day after day, there by the Tama River.

Just seems like they've broken up or talking about it, since the relationship is not progressing? And one of them has to move, or he has to actually commit?

It's kind of cute, I like it so far.

Does anyone else find there's odd contrasts in this manga? Like the art style is very kid-ish and some of it seems very lighthearted, but underneath that there's some adult and maybe kind of skewed stuff going on.

That's hilarious. I mean, I think Johnny Depp is great, but that's partly because he so totally isn't into the manly hunk thing. He's like an anti-"pinnacle of manliness".
