You mean despite the fact that he was a clone, that had no prior understanding of life before, and that it was thrusted upon him because he was essentially a clean slate to Richter, and that he was ridiculed due to what transpired in the place Richter died. Right, such a pansy, he had no character development so he stayed a pussy foreve- Oh wait. Why don't you try looking at a few let's plays or a few cutscenes to understand the character before you bash him. The only thing I didn't like about the game was the fighting system, Emil was built from that slate and given a chance to grow. Yet everyone wants to say they were bad characters. I've seen worse.
I'd actually like to play the game following this perspective. Maybe as a New Game+ kind of thing.
The story was too short, but richter and aqua make a much better pair of main characters than marta and emil. The only problem is the number of tragedy flags that Richter trips along the way.
I still kind of liked the game though, and the heroine, whatever her name was, but I like that type of character so its not really an impartial judgement for me
Emil was by far one of the worst main leads in all the tales games what a pansy
