this is pretty good

That was a nice way to derive at the formula for the fibonacci sequence (I still remember when I had that task doing matrix computations and Jordan decomposition).

Was mathematically interesting even though sometimes a bit high leveled (like 1st year university math).

Side note: How many decimal places of pi do you remember off the top of your head? I am at 8 - 3.14159265!

I'm out after 3.14 ^^'

This manga took the record for me to stare at a page for so long.. thinking about some equation... I think my brain is kinda dead after so long not thinking mathematically lol

I´m sure i wasn´t the only one who skipped all the math parts.

Just not fucking way i deal with math in my free time, i liked the authors other works though so i decided to finish this one for the plot.

@ Comadrin I remember this many: 3.141592653589793238462643383279 thanks to this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZlyHtSZsYQ
There plenty of sports manga but no math manga till now. :D
@Comadrin I support the use of tau instead of pi, so here goes, the first 52 digits of tau: 6.283185307179586476925286766559005768394338798750211 ( I swear that I have written what I had memorized, thanks to Vihart's video - like, really, why would I be cheating over the net?)

Anyhow, GREAT SERIES!!!

A really annoying series, as it is well-written, humorous, and has great, interesting characters. It's annoying because it is making my elderly mind remember how much I enjoyed math when I was young and in high school. As a result, I have gone back to Richard Feynman and a bunch of math textbooks I haven't looked at for 30+ years. The mangaka is slapping me around the head and shoulders for forgetting how much fun mathematics is. Fibonacci series and the golden mean rule!
as a math lover. I love this series....
I just found out that there is more than this manga about mathematical girls.
There seem to be 5 books and 2 more different mangas:
http://www.hyuki.com/girl/en.html
http://www.hyuki.com/girl/comic2.html
http://www.hyuki.com/girl/comic3.html

And the first book is translated to English:

the is one mindf**king manga. *stares at all the maths that I can hardly understand especially at the later chapters*
chapter 7 was beautiful, just beautiful.
Maybe I'll post my own solutions for the formulas to the first 2 number sequences later as they are different from those in the chapter,
see I didn't think of oscillations at all until I continued to read the chapter so it was an pleasant surprise :)
Best confession "evar'". No, I gotta say, it was epic and complex (pun intented).
@adikted0916 You sir just read my mind there. Math and love, I don't seem to need anymore.
maybe that thing between milka and tetra is yuri??? WoooooW ... xD nice manga
This is one of the most romantic stories I've read. I never thought something involving mathematics could feel so light and fluffy.
I always place myself with Tetra while reading the manga.(ofcourse, except the whole feeling scene)
Haha! Seems like math is way easier to understand than girls..
@blindbox You mess with Miruka, you get your chair kicked.
In the events that occured that is.
Holy crap guys I totally didn't expect chapter 2!
I would never have thought that a manga like this existed.
It's wonderful <3 math is wonderful <3
My God, it's like this was written with me in mind. Math is awesome!
I think Miruka is gonna murder Tetra.
