I can't remember the title, so I can't really help you find it. I don't know if it was the very first omegaverse story on Batoto, but it was the first one I'd seen, and I tend to browse a fair amount of yaoi. Certainly it was before they started being frequently uploaded. If it helps, I think the story was about a researcher who was hiding (or at least not publicising) the fact that he was an omega, and that the news thing was supposed to tie in to the "life's hard out here for omegas" theme rather than being an outright endorsement of rape, but I can't remember anything more specific than that.

I'm in no position to judge anyone for their fantasies, but a universe where rape can be excused as a biological imperative is a bit much.

You just pretty much described all of Omegaverse there.

I loathe it.

The first time I saw one, it explained all the alpha/beta/omega stuff, and I thought it sounded a bit iffy, but who knows, maybe that's just the unfortunate implications of the setting, and the actual stories wouldn't focus on the rapey parts too much. I thought I should at least give it a chance. And then it immediately opened with a random news report about how a child was raped by her teacher and that maybe it was her fault for being an omega.
