Strike The Blood

Why is the 'Sword Shaman' using a spear and the 'War Dancer' using a sword? The Lion King Agency are retards when it comes to naming things. You'd think that the War Dancer would use a dagger or whip, something elegant, not something that looks like it was made for WoW.

Of further note, is this going to turn into 'Vanisher King and the 12 starlit maidens?' The guy needs twelve girls to be his Kenju's mediums, so it just seems to be going down that path. Well, we know of at least three (Sword Shaman, War Dancer, Asagi) as well as two or three possibles (Astarte, Natsuki, Nagisa)

I also figured that something fishy was going on with his friend. The guy knows about Kujou being a pure-blood, and his powers. I also didn't expect 'Rosy-Fingered' to be taken down so easily, but it was the villain of yesterday, so it will be weak from now on.

It has potential, the drawing is good.

Artwork is pretty dull and awkward looking in the first chapter.

But I'll give it a few chapters before I pass final judgment.

Hate to say... but this is the only translation we had for chapter 16 and it's out. We need a translator, if we wish to carry this on.

Among other things, you don't need the "though", you have a command "of" English, "can" work, and grammar is spelled with an "a".

Sorry, I get PR OCD sometimes and this gave me a good chuckle.

Why don't ya use raws from comic walker? I can provide them for you if u want. They are super quality. xD

Let me say first that I appreciate the effort Saiko has put into stepping up to translate this manga into English. Thank you for providing an English version!

That said, I say this having not yet looked at the raws myself, but the dialog and/or typesetting is a little confusing, or rather all over the place. Page 12's first dialog bubble doesn't make sense given who's the speaker, nor 13. I'm confused as to the meaning of Page 16's first two panels. Page 19 has 'other' when it makes more sense to be 'others', 'occassionally' misspelled and 'practise' (page 18). Page 24 'speacilly' is supposed to be specially, and isn't 'withal' a little too archaic for a high school girl?

It's quite disheartening to see the translation detract from the source material.

Yes, indeed. After looking at the pages, I myself (ScavvyKiD) feel like those errors are HUGE. Well, considering that this was my first attempt at 'Scanlating a Manga', and I was the only one doing everything, except TLing the manga, and it was tiresome.

We have dropped the manga scanlation for now because we don't really have a translator and a QC to see things through.

So I read the first four chapters, and I'm completely bored. The art doesn't seem terribe, but the main character and heroine are just....dull. Is there any reason to keep reading? Does the series get better as it goes along?

But if you really want to know, I suggest the anime. The animation is top-class and you will know whether or not you want to even watch up to 6 episodes. Check out the 2nd OP regardless though, it is mainly symbolic but rather good. I would suggest the original LNs but the translation is slow.

I wouldn't call this a masterpiece but it is certainly a very interesting story. You shouldn't take it too seriously though. It is a harem before it is an action series. BUT!

330km? 330km what? Certainly not distance from the island, because as we know, the earth is not flat, which kinda restricts the line of sight a little bit. From his vantage point he'd be able to see something on sea level in about 8km distance. Even a 100m tall something would only be visible up until 35km distance. To be able to spot something over 300km away he'd need an elevation of more than 7000m.
