great premise, but underwhelming execution overall.
not terribly surprised that it was cancelled to be fair (especially since it running in shonen jump). it had a nice HxH vibe, but was nowhere near as well done as HxH... shame really, definitely had potential if it had been better executed.
Series had a good ending despite the axe, but Jump makes some shitty decisions though.
Narita really knows how to make enjoyable settings however, and I adore broken characters.
I'm sad to see this end so soon, I really felt it could have gone pretty far, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
I really hate the jump from time to time, this manga was good and had a lot of potential .. the axe was hard and without mercy, at least the rushed ending was unexpected so it will be a memorable one for being that sad .... if narita-sensei continues this path hope that they allow him to expand his world or at least doing it in another magazine (and weekly of course xD)
I'm not sure how to respond after reading this manga. It was good overall, but has one of the saddest endings I've ever read.
... so, this got axed right?
Very true, I think it could have found a lot of success in another magazine!
Holy shit that was horrible, I'd really like to hope that the author had a much better plan but was forced to destroy it just so he could pull out an ending in time for the Axe
Axed ... Ahah bitch please, I hate this, something who can have potential, just get axed...
still one heck of an end.
rushed and wtf.
I feel that the writer wanted Toroma to be the actual MC, and Seig was just a way to introduce him. It's a very unconventional way, but a really good one. Just not in Shounen as it seems.
When no good ending will bring closure, play the tragedy card, huh...?
Still, well played.
haha They used the McGuffin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
not the typical disappointment for an axed series. Actually it turned out okay.
+1 INTERNETZ
At least the ending is decent, I guess. 4/5 because I like the characters.
It was a nice manga. It's unfortunate that it got axed so early :/
When it just gotten good too. Oh well at least the ending was handle nicely for an axed ending.
the ending was obviously rushed but at least the author put some effort into it, unlike some others i can think of.
Considering the fact that we were introduced to a new character nearly every other chapter, I don't see how it was "ballsy".
Chapter 20:
The status says complete, but this manga doesn't feel complete in my heart. I was expecting so much awesome from this title. Good Night, sweet prince.
I'm still sad that it got axed but to be honest... That was a really good ending still? To me, at least.
It was really quick and you can tell it was rushed but at the same time it was sorta fitting and still really well done.
I mean, it made me wanna cry at least, so.
Honestly, I don't know if it was axed or if the author decided the story to end that way. It wasn't that bad of an end...
20 chapters is what you give,
in 20 chapters everybody can see that your magazine is burnable garbage
