Yeah, that is pretty much what I also think, the oneshot was ok but this serialization it is not very good, I will keep reading since there must not be too many chapters until its ending (I don´t know if this series has already been cancelled, but I suppose that that already happened long time ago)

Read the one-shot: "Hey, this is actually interesting!"
Read the actual serialization : "What the hell happened??????? OMFG what did they DOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo............"
Yea, the typesetting in this chapter is just bad, quite honestly.
they decide what to drop and add every 3 months so it might get 2 volumes but yeah this is bad
Well doubt it matters either way considering it's ranked at the bottom of Jump. I'm not expecting this to make it past 1 volume unless there's a massive upswing in popularity.
It's published on a shounen magazine, so the demographic is shounen, nuff said mmm...
Actually I think it's just fine the way it is. A doctor is a support character in and of itself. So to have a doctor be a doctor they must have patients. If the patients are boring the story is equally boring. The "puny kid" that likes muscles... is actually quite strong but in a technique fashion rather then physical force. I mean being able to "shut someone down" is more impressive then beating them into submission in my opinion.
The demographic must be seinen not shounen. It focuses on other guys instead of the MC, and the MC is just a little puny kid that likes muscles and acts as if he is strong.
The Oneshot is way better than this!
