Finished it recently, I was able to predict some of the stuff that happened, but it was still an enjoyable ride.  I like how grounded the end remained, as sad as it got.  There wasn't any attempt to butter it up and make it super happy.

[!!SPOILERS BELOW!!]

It was obvious something was up with the girl(whom we still don't know the name of ;-D)

She was FAAR to convenient, especially when the main antagonist was a guy so smart people call him "God"...

That ending thou, I'm crying invisible tears...

Need more feels !

The ending took me completely by surprise. I've reread this manga over and over again in the last "few" years and I always stopped in the same place. This time, I read it all in one go (finally) and the ending was a complete shocker. The second half of the manga was quite unpredictable to the first half. I want to say that this manga was genius in its way of execution and plot but truthfully, maybe because I read it all in one go, I feel bittersweet and ambivalent about its end...especially "Hiyono"

He should have back hand slap Hiyo as nothing is worse then pretty much saying you are a job. It was all lies so they were never meant to be, then I would have broken more of Kiyokata bones before letting him off.

MY, MY, MY LIFE!!!!! IT FEELS SO EMPTY AFTER FINISHING THIS!! Ahhhh!!! Maybe this is what you feel like when u have finished a really good piece of story, empty inside.... Man... Seriously.. it was an extreme plot twist at the ending chapters... don't know if I like it too much since I am one of those fools that are like "Happy endings GOGO!!"

But I still liked the manga, the anime was pretty good too, in a different sense, but... ahhh.. I really loved that girl Yuisaki Hiyono, made my heart ache! OH MY GOD, I seriously dont think I can sleep after this... 3 am atm...

A tragic ending but it was great as the guy wasn't totally despaired or sad in the end. Atleast he went down fighting like a man with a confident smile.
The ending was tragic, I still wish for some punishment... especially to the girl and brother but atleast he's not being a drama queen, remained strong and admirable.
Always knew something was wrong about the girl. Makes sense in the end obviously. Still though the ending is really tragic.
It's been a while since I've read this manga. I wonder if there was a spin-off, cuz I wanna see them together.
So good, and so tragic...
