no updates? i've found translated chapters for this series that almost hit the 200 mark

So everyone's worth is already determined the moment they are born, and the difference is humongous. What a horrible world to live in. I find it hard to believe there hasn't been any eugenics purge to wed out all the weak people.

What's the deal with this 'adaptation'? It skips all over and then refers back to things which only occurred in the LN. O.o

 

I think I'd be completely lost if I hadn't read the LN.

I've decided that this rendition of the story was simply phoned in (likely a cash grab -original author probably didn't have much control over the product)

Actually I think it's because the adaptation is getting incomplete raws. they keep seeming to have gaps from one chapter to the next like on a skip function.

Why rest of the chapter don't exist on batoto?

I am reading this somewhere else and I wonder whether the author is incapable of keeping the age of the monsters they fight and halos they absorb straight or whether the translations I'm reading just aren't translating it properly. (Probably option two, since I have noticed some weird grammar/omitted words from time to time)

Haaah, gonna have to go to mangadoom or readmanga every time a new one comes out.

I totally understand now, the LN is in all ways better than this, I honestly cannot see how they're going to continue doing this manga when the violence/gore just increases. If you go and check out the novel you'll find out (the first few chapters can be a bit rough but the translation gets a lot better later)

 

also little Ao's ability is like, really important, I don't see how they can continue, how the hell would you eat corn on the cob while doing anything physical? Where are all the hilarious phallus puns? His character makes less sense now

Well theres no such thing as an adapation that is on par with the original source material(Well outside of Complete remakes, but even those can fail) so its not fair, I'll start the novels soon since its really picking up

Also, there are tons of manga/manhwa where the author isn't the artist. Although this was adapted from a novel, the circumstance is exactly the same: artist gets a storyboard and has to draw a manga out of it.

i wanted to say "no, it cant be that bad or that disappointing, or changed that much," but i cant it really doesnt compare but i still like looking at the art and stuff so i still enjoy reading this.

I'm on LN39 and am commenting as of then, I can't wait to get current and chat with all of you. This spoiler will hint past the manga so beware.
