I love Leana's reactions to just casually pulling the hardware out of the hammerspace saddlebags.

GGWP. I have a feeling that'll be the rest of the manga from now on too.

Yessss thank you Cyan Steam for picking this up!!!

"What did you do today?"

"Oh, not much. Just punched some sharks in the face."

Or maybe there is some mystical reason behind it, like people from the aerial cities have something imprinted into their beings that makes them ignore the land's gravity when they are near their homeland

Leana still floats in the desert while Ariadne is floating over the mountains, so it's not proximity that triggers the effect. Also, apparently Ariadne's gravity is slightly lower than 2 Gs given that Leana needs to add her weight's worth of ballast to maintain her footing.

Either that or the author needs to straighten out his world-building physics because if the empty MRL weighs as much as Leana, then she's literally strong enough to carry more than her own weight on her shoulders. I get why the horse thingy is okay with the weight because Leana's floatiness neutralizes it, but Leana should still feel the weight of the MRL.

Sand sharks are still vastly preferable to the land whale.

I didn't check the Creators but when I opened the First Chapter I realized who it is fast.

My current state can only be described as pure bliss :D

Why do those sharks have gills if they are swimming in sand?

Maybe they need to filtrate water before drinking it, so they use the sand to do it? I don't know, but it's quite strange indeed.

You know, you might have missed it through their gags, but how the author uses the lack of knowledge of the princess for world building is actually very clever.
It's not as outright as telling you what the fuck everything is in your usual isekai, but the effect is the same while being humorous too.

Props to Norihiro for this.

It is quite a common tactic, which can be seen in ToG and One Piece for example, but it is common for a reason. Integrating your world building into the world itself is a great way of doing things, and a lot better than exposition through dialogue boxes (or word of God to be more exact).

So yeah, props to the author.

PS. It'll be fun to see the two play off eachother, since they both have clear areas of expertise. Helps flesh out the characters when you don't have one asking the questions and the other answering all the time.

ok where did they fit the MRL in there?

but only the citizens are attracted when they are near the city ... so I don't think it's going for the gravity laws approach. It feels more like a barrier is around the city and there the gravity acts inside the sphere/barrier.

Those poor sharks.

This kid is kinda like astro boy... I like this

I am sure the leader's machine is red in color.

If Leana is attracted to the gravity of her homeland and it's actually higher than the planet's 1g (which we know because she floats up towards it instead of just hanging in equilibrium), then what happens if they get to the other side of the planet and Ariadne is below them? For that matter, they'd start having problems when they're about 20-30 degrees off Ariadne, won't they?

Love the Star Wars reference.
