So that they can keep the manga running for longer. If the Protag doesn't realize that all the girls love him then it becomes a long drawn out process.

No offense to anyone, but is there any particular reason why the large majority of romance mangaka make their protagonists unbelievably stupid?
I get a feeling that in the end MC will die "School Days" style. If not... he should, least for the tragedy tag.
Miyuki? I feel more sorry for Fumika. She's been pining after this idiot MC for the whole time and you know it's going to be a Miyuki ending anyways.
well to start of it probably is a huge shock to have someone you have known your entire life forget about you and everything else.
And okay, he likes her (probalby the other girl too), but it's like the mc is thinking in the beginning, is she really the same as before the memory loss. It is wishfull thinking to have her be the same as before. So the mc also has to think if he likes the current personality and if the current personality really likes him (cause it could be that she says she likes him because she feels bad about forgetting him).
So before saying he has no backbone, there are really a lot of complicated thing to overthink in such a situation. (a least that's my thoughts on the matter)

sooo... i just read 2 chapters, but the thing that bothering me the most. if Miyuki totally forgot about everything . why Suichi leave her alone?? If he truly like her, he will try and get her heart back also her memories. its not like Miyuki wanted to forgot about them, its because of the accident . after I saw Suichi lack of back bone making me lost interest... T_T. **sorry for the bad english thou im not native speakers...xD **

Been a while. Can't remember anything about this story already, other than it had an insipid MC of some sort. I'll take that as a sign to not bother.
...to be honest, i cant help but feel miyuki is being a petulent child here.
you cant honestly expect your friends to tell you everything that happens. some things are just private. and this is what that was.
