Damn I just wanna know what happened to his mother... Why'd they go deep on us and then leave us hanging.

But it wasn't a bad ending, just a point of frustration for me.
That being said, thanks a bunch for the translation!!! I'm sad to see the series go, but it was fun while it lasted.

This was very subdued ending and totally in keeping with the tone of this series, the unwritten future can not be predicted pretty much what I'd expect from Sakuraba-sensei,

I gonna be that guy and say that the father ntr the 4 ladies from him and that is why the baby looks like him
jokes aside, I dislike ending like this. It's so annoying when the author doesn't want to decide on one girl.

Dunno if I'm being nitpicky, but...

The artist is purposefully using close-up shots to avoid drawing half to full bodies.

Seems like the dood is bad with anatomy, and tend to avoid it, leading to these annoying series of panels after panels of faces, which also seems to be the reason why the art in this manga didn't improve even though it already has over 50 chapters.

Yeah, Sakuraba's been publishing manga since 2002. While there have been some improvements, they're not too drastic, and their technical skills have remained kind of stagnant. That said, I think they're prioritizing creating more content over setting aside time to improve their skills, which seems to be working out pretty well considering how long running Minami-ke and this series have been. Despite not having strong technical skills, I've still found that their works have been written and laid out to make for effective and entertaining comedy. At the end of the day, I think it's an opportunity cost thing for the author.

he's the artist of minami-ke too ... he has always had the same style, and he has get better over the years

Man, Takayama's Dad doesn't have to posses and ESP to manipulate everyone 'round. He clearly wants his son with Akane... which *thumbs up* it's a good thing!

he didn't get any impression of mitsuki whatsoever or the other girls for that matter. so his choice is kinda obvious

It's the lazy art. Backgrounds are barely being drawn, and the author's drawing the faces as zoomed in as possible to avoid having to draw the other more distinguishing parts of the body.

The chick with the short light hair is Akane's friend from middle school(?) who has a crush on and can seemingly teleport. She first showed up at the cultural festival.

The somewhat girly lookin dude is one of Takayama's dude friends. Seemingly has a power where promises made to him/he makes to others are absolutely kept. Don't know when he first showed up, but he was that one dude Akane kept seeing again and again cuz she kept saying 'see you later' or something to that effect.

This chapter was a bit confusing, tbh.
