That day a child was not born but a father.

That twist.

So even monsters have their own Zozo-esque town...

That's not true. Read chapter 3 and the witch's story, it's been shown that both species instigated the war. After the war ended, the monsters decided that coexisting with humans was impossible and decided to enslave and eat them all. UberNomad is right, whether you like it or not.

You may be thinking of the incident with the village, but that was hundreds of years before the war.

You proved my point. War, humans and monsters fucked each other up. Humans lost. We don't know what the humans would've done in case of their own victory.

As the incident proves the humans were not really fond of monsters. So it's save to assume the other way around would end up equally uncomfortable for the monsters.

Nothing more I wanted to say.

I love these precious cottonball children.

You could say it was just evolution with humanity as a whole getting the short end of the stick.

Possibly. They certainly lost the war, but it seems that there are more humans than any individual species of monster. It also looks like dying golems have a weak spot for them, so they have that going for them.

The humans fought against the mosters uppon meeting them. Monsters united and kicked the humans shit in. In the war they found out how delicious humans are...

Instead of moving goalposts you should really reread the series.

These monster kids are all adorable. Almost near Ponta and Mear level. Almost.

Hold on. Golem said he has no shell on his face and hands. So that means he's wearing some kind of mask and gloves, or are those his "bones"?

This chapter reminded me a lot of Prosthoplus

Love that angle.

Page 24, basically a pokeball with teeth.

A chapter so sweet, she lost a tooth over it.

Well, page 16 wasn't really sweet :(

Spoiler

The manga is so sweet that she got a cavity

A chapter so sweet, she lost a tooth over it.

Awww, what a sweet chapter~

The humans realised they can't live in peace with monsters and came to the conclusion that every non-human only worthy as a food supply? I should reread this.

wait, so harpies have super sensitive hearing, but Uzoi's mother didn't hear a stranger sneaking up on her...?

Dogs have s hearing that is hundreds better than a humans, cats have a hearing that is thousands better than a human. And yet, they always get startled when I sneak a pat on them.

Same thing here. Better hearing only allows you to hear sounds that are usually imperceptible to other creatures, it doesn't mean that you can hear sounds that are usually quiet, loud. It doesn't change the "volume" of the sound you see.

Really, the last couple chapters show monsters putting humans in slavery and somehow only humans react violently? And bear in mind, this is all from the monster's perspective, who are authoring history, so it's almost certainly slanted. Are you also forgetting the nice human hermit who treated them kindly? In fact, TPN showed demon's feeding the kids BS about their world when they are being cultivated for food. The themes mirror each other. However, both sides do have nice monsters and demons, and I'm sure this series will eventually get some hunter humans. We just haven't seen humans effectively counter them, except in TPN. And I am up to date; the TPN treaty was basically a ceasefire, and this William Minerva will probably upset the balance (and is probably a trap as well, both to ensnare the kids and possibly kickstart another war so demons can eat humans in their cities). You can't 100% trust the stories of those in power, as TPN demonstrates.

Except for the small detail that we know of the violent reaction of the humans from 2 sources, with the second one being from one of their allies which wanted to keep them isolated from the rest of the world, a mission the Golem which took care of them was also following.

Or the witch was full of shit, that can be the case too, forced but it can be.

Spoiler

Also the spoilers are not for you, but for other people that also pass through here and may not be up to date, nor be reading TPN.

So monsters can eat people with no issues, but people eating monsters just arbitrarily kills them.

Is it weird that this actually bothers me way more than any of the dumb race war stuff?

Monster virus.

Also "zombies can eat people, people can't eat zombies!".

Want a chapter where humans get revenge through "FREEDOM"

Yay, finally, a nice sweet bonding chapter. I really hope the owners don't pop up...
