Great job, Hox -was a pleasure to be along for the ride. Moral of the story: town weird as hell? Time to move; don't accidentally screw anybody along the way.

I thought I got the gist of it when they explained the whole foreign bodies concept, but the epilogue threw me for a loop until I read the translator's explanation.

Overall, this was really a trip, but I feel a bit bad for Onoda at the end.

Rather surprising that batoto didn't update the final chapter for Soil as quickly as usual.

For people left with some questions after reading Soil's final chapter, you might find useful this post explaining much of the plot by the translator: http://hoxtranslations.blogspot.com/2017/04/soil-v11-last-updated-apr-25.html

Fitting that we had a hugely publicized solar eclipse today...

Thanks for another chapter of "Wtf did I just read? I need more!"

I thought the doctor's son was a regular kid with split personality or some possesion or trance going on but nope, he showed no remorse about raping and torturing his girlfriend and was fantasying about doing the same to Mizuki.

He was just your run of the mill psychopath, faking being a normal person.

Holy hell. Just...wow. The whole chapter, but especially those last two pages... Chilling stuff.

That's so sad

Oh man I'm hype

Spoiler

I really liked this chapter, but man, I'm hoping against hope that it doesn't end with no explanation.

The more I Read the more I like the art. Love this series. Ty for your work.

Hmm... How should I put this... I find that the story builds itself in a weird and not necessarily desirable direction. Like, normally you'd get basic world setup and everything evolves from there. For large plots, this brings about retcons and shoehorns. The plot of Soil goes in reverse - nothing is inconsistent, nothing feels totally stupid, yet at the same time it's impossible to figure out anything from established principles. Every weirdness is busily tied into the preceding weirdness, but it all comes out of nowhere. (Which, I guess, is the whole point.) It's like the story is operating off a very skeletal premise and engame, but otherwise it's all generating itself as it goes. Like Lost, but with an end in mind.

I'm enjoying it, though. I like the ambiance, despite the... interesting art. XD It's just that I'm not going to expect a story that ends feeling cohesive and well-wrought all the way through because it seems to intentionally lack a solid foundation.

(I don't think I enunciated my thoughts very well, but maybe this'll make sense to someone.)

Hmmm, should I wait until everything is released so I can enjoy the rest it in one sitting?

Here we go- weird-ing our way towards the end.

Final volume.

Cutscenes, cutscenes everywhere!

I feel like I've seen a Hollywood trailer. I'm dizzy.

I think it was a cool way to build the tension. Some of the pictures were pretty awesome.

The two "paranormal investigators", the psychiatrist acting all normal, Mizuki in both worlds, the eyes of Kento suddenly acting up after all this time.

That thing shooting out of sgt. Yokoi's forehead was some serious plot armor, though.

After marathoning it once again I agree with you.

Hats off to your labor, dear sir.

I find this manga mildly confusing.

^ That's a mild way to put it...

After I Am A Hero and its yet another open-ended finale, I hope the wrap up to this one is going to be much more satisfying. Just 1 volume to go!

I find this manga mildly confusing.

MOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE

Ah, it's coming together. Personally I think that (spoiler)
