Oh my gooooood. "So Bad" is right, this whole thing is just one messed up scenario after another. Like, goddamn! Every single one of the adults is just the absolute pinnacle of ain't shit! They're all trash! And the kids are constantly being jerked around by their trashfulness! I didn't even care that none of the adults faced any kind of real consequences or karmic resolution in the end, because their entire existences could not possibly get any more trash! Oh wow, the trash.

It's not even a bad manga. It sets out from the very beginning to tell a story about trash people and their kids who have to live on in the aftermath of their trash decisions, trying to exist and find their own place in the endless trash mountain that defines their entire trash world. And it absolutely succeeds in telling that story. Everything you could possibly want from a teen trash drama, it's all right here. Lead girl is pretty good - not that she isn't a bundle of wavering feelings and indecisiveness, but she recognises that part of herself, and it frustrates her as much as anyone, so she feels suitably rounded as a character. The three brothers have charm, and their conflicts and affections never seem pointlessly cruel or random, which is a really common problem with these spoiled lonely rich kid characters.

So... Yeah, I guess. Four cheap hotdogs made of mashed up pig anuses and sawdust out of five. If you want a moving story about family and teens and drama, this is not the manga for you. You want some raw, trashy daytime TV? Perfect.
