I suppose there's something refreshing about stripping the most annoying romance plot elements to their barest essentials and just throwing them at you on fast forward instead of dancing around pretending.  But in terms of characterization, that leaves me with one female lead is a total selfish bitch, the other appears to be a total cat, the male lead is a needy twerp, except that they're all just sort of . . . schematics, vehicles to carry the desired interactions, not any pretence at real people.  I rarely ever drop a shoujo ai, and never before after just two short chapters, but I'm outta here.

 If PLG doesn't like it, then I doubt I will either.

I'm not sure we can call what we are seeing as leading on the male MC. All of her actions have clearly indicated to anyone watching other than the oblivious Xiao You that he's mainly an afterthought and that she likes and prioritizes Xiao You. Yes, she is using him, but she's not leading him on. He just keeps coming despite her Blatant Favoritism.
