oh god, I still need to buy the tokyopop ones...
Basically Skull Man was a manga made by Ishinomori Shotaro in the late 1970s. It was a sensation back when because Skull Man was one of the first antiheroes seen in manga.
A continuation series was created from this one-shot when the original author contacted Shimamoto Kazuhiko and asked him to do a remake of his original work, which was later published in English.
Now, I know most of you would be turn off by the artwork, but an anime does exist. I don’t know if it follows the original manga’s storyline, but I know it has action, which maybe some of you might be interested in. A manga based on said anime also exist but it has not been scanlated.
With that said, the artwork doesn’t bother me. I found the storyline to be interesting, that and I like to read original works.
