Gotta love that casual abusive ex girlfriend, because we can't have a shoujo about how it's alright to move on with your life, no there's always gotta be an "evil" character.

Holy crap this was frustrating.... 

My patience ran thin for this in the first chapter. The female lead was just too....not even worth explaining. Maybe I'll try it out sometime in the future but as it stands, from the very beginning I cringed at her. The fact that she even day dreamed about risking her life to find love...no~

Andddd Totoki does it again! In such a dangerous world, she's really lucky, that girl.

Ending is downplayed, in reality it's unlikely the other girl would have changed her ways this quick, author didn't have enough chapters I guess.

Well, the buildup was so melodramatic that the finale couldn't help being a bit tame by comparison.  But, not bad.

OK, that girl needs serious psychiatric care; in Canada she'd have counsellors and social workers tripping over each other to shove some treatment down her throat.

I must say the world of this manga is very dangerous.  I mean, in 7 chapters our heroine has been close to death or serious injury I think 4 times:  

The heroine and her crazy namesake are quite similar.  I mean, the heroine has some of the same silly romantic ideas as the crazy girl, it's just that she doesn't treat them quite as seriously.  But then, she has a normal life as far as we know--a best friend, we have the impression she has a normal family even though we've never seen them, and so on.  If her parents got killed and she was left all alone with only the object of her romantic delusions for company, maybe she'd have gone off the deep end too.  And I do think this connection is deliberate.  So that's kind of interesting.

Whelp.... I'm going to be very disappointed with the scanlators if they released this cliffhanger before Christmas and then don't release the next chapter before Christmas...

Dunno why everyone's annoyed with the heroine.  She's a good old fashioned classic shoujo heroine of the simple and somewhat timid variety.  I see nothing wrong with that.  And, she's been confronted by a situation that's just a wee bit out of the typical shoujo heroine comfort zone, which makes it interesting.

She's just a very stereotypical shoujo manga MC and not really realistic. She doesn't have much to her character outside of her niceness and romance life. And the manga itself is just a whole bunch of cliches with a guy that's kinda awful to the mc and has the "crazy clingy girlfriend" trope too. There isn't a lot of substance to the characters beyond their tropes except maybe for the guy but even then there isn't a lot. Like stereotypes are fine to an extent but the way its being presented is boring and infuriating. The plot is barely keeping me on board.

Yep, that's exactly what I thought too! But you put it in a much more eloquent way than I would've. I always like MCs that are selfless like that too /crai

I can't wait to see what other shoujo cliches this manga has in store for the readers (maybe we'll find out that MC is terrible at schoolwork and cooking?). But the main guy's relationship with coma!Haruka seems like it'll be interesting...

Very painful to read indeed... the MC, ugh.

I cringe at the MC.

 

Nevertheless, I'll continue reading since I wanna know the guy's story.
